頃之、爾不見我、又頃之、爾復見我、

頃之而爾不見我、復頃之而爾見我、以我歸父也、

未幾爾不見我、又未幾爾復見我、因我歸於父也、

『瞬息之間、而爾不得睹予矣！復一瞬息、而爾又得見予矣！』

Jesus went on to say,“ In a little while you will see me no more, and then after a little while you will see me.”

Jesus continued,“ In a little while, you will no longer see me. Then after a little while, you will see me.”

“ A little while, and you will see me no longer; and again a little while, and you will see me.”

“ In a little while you won’t see me anymore. But a little while after that, you will see me again.”

“ In a little while, you will no longer see me; again in a little while, you will see me.”

“ A little while, and you no longer are going to see Me; and again a little while, and you will see Me.”

“ A little while, and you will not see Me; and again a little while, and you will see Me, because I go to the Father.”

A little while, and ye behold me no more; and again a little while, and ye shall see me.

“ A little while and you will no longer see Me; again a little while and you will see Me.”

A little while, and ye shall not see me: and again, a little while, and ye shall see me, because I go to the Father.

In a little while you will see me no longer; again after a little while, you will see me.”

A little while, and you will not see me. Again a little while, and you will see me.”

Jesus said,“ I am with you for only a short time, and then I am going to the one who sent me. (niv)

I came from the Father and entered the world; now I am leaving the world and going back to the Father.” (niv)

So with you: Now is your time of grief, but I will see you again and you will rejoice, and no one will take away your joy. (niv)

but God raised him from the dead on the third day and caused him to be seen.He was not seen by all the people, but by witnesses whom God had already chosen— by us who ate and drank with him after he rose from the dead. (niv)

After his suffering, he presented himself to them and gave many convincing proofs that he was alive. He appeared to them over a period of forty days and spoke about the kingdom of God. (niv)

Then Jesus told them,“ You are going to have the light just a little while longer. Walk while you have the light, before darkness overtakes you. Whoever walks in the dark does not know where they are going. (niv)

After the Lord Jesus had spoken to them, he was taken up into heaven and he sat at the right hand of God. (niv)

“ My children, I will be with you only a little longer. You will look for me, and just as I told the Jews, so I tell you now: Where I am going, you cannot come. (niv)

I will not leave you as orphans; I will come to you.Before long, the world will not see me anymore, but you will see me. Because I live, you also will live.On that day you will realize that I am in my Father, and you are in me, and I am in you.Whoever has my commands and keeps them is the one who loves me. The one who loves me will be loved by my Father, and I too will love them and show myself to them.”Then Judas( not Judas Iscariot) said,“ But, Lord, why do you intend to show yourself to us and not to the world?”Jesus replied,“ Anyone who loves me will obey my teaching. My Father will love them, and we will come to them and make our home with them.Anyone who does not love me will not obey my teaching. These words you hear are not my own; they belong to the Father who sent me. (niv)

fixing our eyes on Jesus, the pioneer and perfecter of faith. For the joy set before him he endured the cross, scorning its shame, and sat down at the right hand of the throne of God. (niv)

At this, some of his disciples said to one another,“ What does he mean by saying,‘ In a little while you will see me no more, and then after a little while you will see me,’ and‘ Because I am going to the Father’?”They kept asking,“ What does he mean by‘ a little while’? We don’t understand what he is saying.”Jesus saw that they wanted to ask him about this, so he said to them,“ Are you asking one another what I meant when I said,‘ In a little while you will see me no more, and then after a little while you will see me’? (niv)

On the evening of that first day of the week, when the disciples were together, with the doors locked for fear of the Jewish leaders, Jesus came and stood among them and said,“ Peace be with you!”After he said this, he showed them his hands and side. The disciples were overjoyed when they saw the Lord.Again Jesus said,“ Peace be with you! As the Father has sent me, I am sending you.”And with that he breathed on them and said,“ Receive the Holy Spirit.If you forgive anyone’s sins, their sins are forgiven; if you do not forgive them, they are not forgiven.”Now Thomas( also known as Didymus), one of the Twelve, was not with the disciples when Jesus came.So the other disciples told him,“ We have seen the Lord!” But he said to them,“ Unless I see the nail marks in his hands and put my finger where the nails were, and put my hand into his side, I will not believe.”A week later his disciples were in the house again, and Thomas was with them. Though the doors were locked, Jesus came and stood among them and said,“ Peace be with you!”Then he said to Thomas,“ Put your finger here; see my hands. Reach out your hand and put it into my side. Stop doubting and believe.”Thomas said to him,“ My Lord and my God!”Then Jesus told him,“ Because you have seen me, you have believed; blessed are those who have not seen and yet have believed.” (niv)

Afterward Jesus appeared again to his disciples, by the Sea of Galilee. It happened this way:Simon Peter, Thomas( also known as Didymus), Nathanael from Cana in Galilee, the sons of Zebedee, and two other disciples were together.“ I’m going out to fish,” Simon Peter told them, and they said,“ We’ll go with you.” So they went out and got into the boat, but that night they caught nothing.Early in the morning, Jesus stood on the shore, but the disciples did not realize that it was Jesus.He called out to them,“ Friends, haven’t you any fish?”“ No,” they answered.He said,“ Throw your net on the right side of the boat and you will find some.” When they did, they were unable to haul the net in because of the large number of fish.Then the disciple whom Jesus loved said to Peter,“ It is the Lord!” As soon as Simon Peter heard him say,“ It is the Lord,” he wrapped his outer garment around him( for he had taken it off) and jumped into the water.The other disciples followed in the boat, towing the net full of fish, for they were not far from shore, about a hundred yards.When they landed, they saw a fire of burning coals there with fish on it, and some bread.Jesus said to them,“ Bring some of the fish you have just caught.”So Simon Peter climbed back into the boat and dragged the net ashore. It was full of large fish, 153, but even with so many the net was not torn.Jesus said to them,“ Come and have breakfast.” None of the disciples dared ask him,“ Who are you?” They knew it was the Lord.Jesus came, took the bread and gave it to them, and did the same with the fish.This was now the third time Jesus appeared to his disciples after he was raised from the dead.When they had finished eating, Jesus said to Simon Peter,“ Simon son of John, do you love me more than these?”“ Yes, Lord,” he said,“ you know that I love you.” Jesus said,“ Feed my lambs.”Again Jesus said,“ Simon son of John, do you love me?” He answered,“ Yes, Lord, you know that I love you.” Jesus said,“ Take care of my sheep.”The third time he said to him,“ Simon son of John, do you love me?” Peter was hurt because Jesus asked him the third time,“ Do you love me?” He said,“ Lord, you know all things; you know that I love you.” Jesus said,“ Feed my sheep.Very truly I tell you, when you were younger you dressed yourself and went where you wanted; but when you are old you will stretch out your hands, and someone else will dress you and lead you where you do not want to go.”Jesus said this to indicate the kind of death by which Peter would glorify God. Then he said to him,“ Follow me!”Peter turned and saw that the disciple whom Jesus loved was following them.( This was the one who had leaned back against Jesus at the supper and had said,“ Lord, who is going to betray you?”)When Peter saw him, he asked,“ Lord, what about him?”Jesus answered,“ If I want him to remain alive until I return, what is that to you? You must follow me.”Because of this, the rumor spread among the believers that this disciple would not die. But Jesus did not say that he would not die; he only said,“ If I want him to remain alive until I return, what is that to you?” (niv)

“ I am coming to you now, but I say these things while I am still in the world, so that they may have the full measure of my joy within them. (niv)

but now I am going to him who sent me. None of you asks me,‘ Where are you going?’ (niv)

And now, Father, glorify me in your presence with the glory I had with you before the world began. (niv)

and that he appeared to Cephas, and then to the Twelve.After that, he appeared to more than five hundred of the brothers and sisters at the same time, most of whom are still living, though some have fallen asleep.Then he appeared to James, then to all the apostles,and last of all he appeared to me also, as to one abnormally born.For I am the least of the apostles and do not even deserve to be called an apostle, because I persecuted the church of God. about righteousness, because I am going to the Father, where you can see me no longer; (niv)

Jesus knew that the Father had put all things under his power, and that he had come from God and was returning to God; (niv)
