A little while, and ye behold me no more; and again a little while, and ye shall see me.

頃之、爾不見我、又頃之、爾復見我、

頃之而爾不見我、復頃之而爾見我、以我歸父也、

未幾爾不見我、又未幾爾復見我、因我歸於父也、

『瞬息之間、而爾不得睹予矣！復一瞬息、而爾又得見予矣！』

Jesus went on to say,“ In a little while you will see me no more, and then after a little while you will see me.”

Jesus continued,“ In a little while, you will no longer see me. Then after a little while, you will see me.”

“ A little while, and you will see me no longer; and again a little while, and you will see me.”

“ In a little while you won’t see me anymore. But a little while after that, you will see me again.”

“ In a little while, you will no longer see me; again in a little while, you will see me.”

“ A little while, and you no longer are going to see Me; and again a little while, and you will see Me.”

“ A little while, and you will not see Me; and again a little while, and you will see Me, because I go to the Father.”

“ A little while and you will no longer see Me; again a little while and you will see Me.”

A little while, and ye shall not see me: and again, a little while, and ye shall see me, because I go to the Father.

In a little while you will see me no longer; again after a little while, you will see me.”

A little while, and you will not see me. Again a little while, and you will see me.”

Jesus therefore said, Yet a little while am I with you, and I go unto him that sent me.

I came out from the Father, and am come into the world: again, I leave the world, and go unto the Father.

And ye therefore now have sorrow: but I will see you again, and your heart shall rejoice, and your joy no one taketh away from you.

Him God raised up the third day, and gave him to be made manifest,not to all the people, but unto witnesses that were chosen before of God, even to us, who ate and drank with him after he rose from the dead.

to whom he also showed himself alive after his passion by many proofs, appearing unto them by the space of forty days, and speaking the things concerning the kingdom of God:

Jesus therefore said unto them, Yet a little while is the light among you. Walk while ye have the light, that darkness overtake you not: and he that walketh in the darkness knoweth not whither he goeth.

So then the Lord Jesus, after he had spoken unto them, was received up into heaven, and sat down at the right hand of God.

Little children, yet a little while I am with you. Ye shall seek me: and as I said unto the Jews, Whither I go, ye cannot come; so now I say unto you.

I will not leave you desolate: I come unto you.Yet a little while, and the world beholdeth me no more; but ye behold me: because I live, ye shall live also.In that day ye shall know that I am in my Father, and ye in me, and I in you.He that hath my commandments, and keepeth them, he it is that loveth me: and he that loveth me shall be loved of my Father, and I will love him, and will manifest myself unto him.Judas( not Iscariot) saith unto him, Lord, what is come to pass that thou wilt manifest thyself unto us, and not unto the world?Jesus answered and said unto him, If a man love me, he will keep my word: and my Father will love him, and we will come unto him, and make our abode with him.He that loveth me not keepeth not my words: and the word which ye hear is not mine, but the Father’s who sent me.

looking unto Jesus the author and perfecter of our faith, who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising shame, and hath sat down at the right hand of the throne of God.

Some of his disciples therefore said one to another, What is this that he saith unto us, A little while, and ye behold me not; and again a little while, and ye shall see me: and, Because I go to the Father?They said therefore, What is this that he saith, A little while? We know not what he saith.Jesus perceived that they were desirous to ask him, and he said unto them, Do ye inquire among yourselves concerning this, that I said, A little while, and ye behold me not, and again a little while, and ye shall see me?

When therefore it was evening, on that day, the first day of the week, and when the doors were shut where the disciples were, for fear of the Jews, Jesus came and stood in the midst, and saith unto them, Peace be unto you.And when he had said this, he showed unto them his hands and his side. The disciples therefore were glad, when they saw the Lord.Jesus therefore said to them again, Peace be unto you: as the Father hath sent me, even so send I you.And when he had said this, he breathed on them, and saith unto them, Receive ye the Holy Spirit:whose soever sins ye forgive, they are forgiven unto them; whose soever sins ye retain, they are retained.But Thomas, one of the twelve, called Didymus, was not with them when Jesus came.The other disciples therefore said unto him, We have seen the Lord. But he said unto them, Except I shall see in his hands the print of the nails, and put my finger into the print of the nails, and put my hand into his side, I will not believe.And after eight days again his disciples were within, and Thomas with them. Jesus cometh, the doors being shut, and stood in the midst, and said, Peace be unto you.Then saith he to Thomas, Reach hither thy finger, and see my hands; and reach hither thy hand, and put it into my side: and be not faithless, but believing.Thomas answered and said unto him, My Lord and my God.Jesus saith unto him, Because thou hast seen me, thou hast believed: blessed are they that have not seen, and yet have believed.

After these things Jesus manifested himself again to the disciples at the sea of Tiberias; and he manifested himself on this wise.There were together Simon Peter, and Thomas called Didymus, and Nathanael of Cana in Galilee, and the sons of Zebedee, and two other of his disciples.Simon Peter saith unto them, I go a fishing. They say unto him, We also come with thee. They went forth, and entered into the boat; and that night they took nothing.But when day was now breaking, Jesus stood on the beach: yet the disciples knew not that it was Jesus.Jesus therefore saith unto them, Children, have ye aught to eat? They answered him, No.And he said unto them, Cast the net on the right side of the boat, and ye shall find. They cast therefore, and now they were not able to draw it for the multitude of fishes.That disciple therefore whom Jesus loved saith unto Peter, It is the Lord. So when Simon Peter heard that it was the Lord, he girt his coat about him( for he was naked), and cast himself into the sea.But the other disciples came in the little boat( for they were not far from the land, but about two hundred cubits off), dragging the net full of fishes.So when they got out upon the land, they see a fire of coals there, and fish laid thereon, and bread.Jesus saith unto them, Bring of the fish which ye have now taken.Simon Peter therefore went up, and drew the net to land, full of great fishes, a hundred and fifty and three: and for all there were so many, the net was not rent.Jesus saith unto them, Come and break your fast. And none of the disciples durst inquire of him, Who art thou? knowing that it was the Lord.Jesus cometh, and taketh the bread, and giveth them, and the fish likewise.This is now the third time that Jesus was manifested to the disciples, after that he was risen from the dead.So when they had broken their fast, Jesus saith to Simon Peter, Simon, son of John, lovest thou me more than these? He saith unto him, Yea, Lord; thou knowest that I love thee. He saith unto him, Feed my lambs.He saith to him again a second time, Simon, son of John, lovest thou me? He saith unto him, Yea, Lord; thou knowest that I love thee. He saith unto him, Tend my sheep.He saith unto him the third time, Simon, son of John, lovest thou me? Peter was grieved because he said unto him the third time, Lovest thou me? And he said unto him, Lord, thou knowest all things; thou knowest that I love thee. Jesus saith unto him, Feed my sheep.Verily, verily, I say unto thee, When thou wast young, thou girdedst thyself, and walkedst whither thou wouldest: but when thou shalt be old, thou shalt stretch forth thy hands, and another shall gird thee, and carry thee whither thou wouldest not.Now this he spake, signifying by what manner of death he should glorify God. And when he had spoken this, he saith unto him, Follow me.Peter, turning about, seeth the disciple whom Jesus loved following; who also leaned back on his breast at the supper, and said, Lord, who is he that betrayeth thee?Peter therefore seeing him saith to Jesus, Lord, and what shall this man do?Jesus saith unto him, If I will that he tarry till I come, what is that to thee? follow thou me.This saying therefore went forth among the brethren, that that disciple should not die: yet Jesus said not unto him, that he should not die; but, If I will that he tarry till I come, what is that to thee?

But now I come to thee; and these things I speak in the world, that they may have my joy made full in themselves.

But now I go unto him that sent me; and none of you asketh me, Whither goest thou?

And now, Father, glorify thou me with thine own self with the glory which I had with thee before the world was.

and that he appeared to Cephas; then to the twelve;then he appeared to above five hundred brethren at once, of whom the greater part remain until now, but some are fallen asleep;then he appeared to James; then to all the apostles;and last of all, as to the child untimely born, he appeared to me also.For I am the least of the apostles, that am not meet to be called an apostle, because I persecuted the church of God.

of righteousness, because I go to the Father, and ye behold me no more;

Jesus, knowing that the Father had given all things into his hands, and that he came forth from God, and goeth unto God,
