I will be in them, just as you are in me. This is so that they may be brought together perfectly as one. Then the world will know that you sent me. It will also show the world that you have loved those you gave me, just as you have loved me.“ Father, I want those you have given me to be with me where I am. I want them to see my glory, the glory you have given me. You gave it to me because you loved me before the world was created.

I have shown you to them. And I will continue to show you to them. Then the love you have for me will be in them. I myself will be in them.”

I have told you this so that you will have the same joy that I have. I also want your joy to be complete.

No one has greater love than the one who gives their life for their friends.

May you have power together with all the Lord’s holy people to understand Christ’s love. May you know how wide and long and high and deep it is.

May grace and peace come to you from Jesus Christ. He is the faithful witness, so what he has shown can be trusted. He was the first to rise from the dead. He rules over the kings of the earth. Glory and power belong to Jesus Christ who loves us! He has set us free from our sins by pouring out his blood for us.

But you, dear friends, build yourselves up in your most holy faith. Let the Holy Spirit guide and help you when you pray.
