so that you will walk in a manner worthy of the Lord, to please Him in all respects, bearing fruit in every good work and increasing in the knowledge of God;

You did not choose Me but I chose you, and appointed you that you would go and bear fruit, and that your fruit would remain, so that whatever you ask of the Father in My name He may give to you.

But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness,

The fruit of the righteous is a tree of life, And one who is wise gains souls.

For we cannot do anything against the truth, but only for the truth.

but grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. To Him be the glory, both now and to the day of eternity. Amen.

Therefore Jesus answered and was saying to them,“ Truly, truly, I say to you, the Son can do nothing of Himself, unless it is something He sees the Father doing; for whatever the Father does, these things the Son also does in the same way.

Every good thing given and every perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of lights, with whom there is no variation or shifting shadow.

Therefore, my brothers and sisters, you also were put to death in regard to the Law through the body of Christ, so that you might belong to another, to Him who was raised from the dead, in order that we might bear fruit for God.

Grace and peace be multiplied to you in the knowledge of God and of Jesus our Lord,for His divine power has granted to us everything pertaining to life and godliness, through the true knowledge of Him who called us by His own glory and excellence.Through these He has granted to us His precious and magnificent promises, so that by them you may become partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world on account of lust.Now for this very reason also, applying all diligence, in your faith supply moral excellence, and in your moral excellence, knowledge,and in your knowledge, self control, and in your self control, perseverance, and in your perseverance, godliness,and in your godliness, brotherly kindness, and in your brotherly kindness, love.For if these qualities are yours and are increasing, they do not make you useless nor unproductive in the true knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ.For the one who lacks these qualities is blind or short sighted, having forgotten his purification from his former sins.Therefore, brothers and sisters, be all the more diligent to make certain about His calling and choice of you; for as long as you practice these things, you will never stumble;for in this way the entrance into the eternal kingdom of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ will be abundantly supplied to you.Therefore, I will always be ready to remind you of these things, even though you already know them and have been established in the truth which is present with you.I consider it right, as long as I am in this earthly dwelling, to stir you up by way of reminder,knowing that the laying aside of my earthly dwelling is imminent, as also our Lord Jesus Christ has made clear to me.And I will also be diligent that at any time after my departure you will be able to call these things to mind.For we did not follow cleverly devised tales when we made known to you the power and coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, but we were eyewitnesses of His majesty.For when He received honor and glory from God the Father, such a declaration as this was made to Him by the Majestic Glory:“ This is My beloved Son with whom I am well pleased”—and we ourselves heard this declaration made from heaven when we were with Him on the holy mountain.

having been filled with the fruit of righteousness which comes through Jesus Christ, for the glory and praise of God.

Not that I seek the gift itself, but I seek the profit which increases to your account.

Truly, truly I say to you, unless a grain of wheat falls into the earth and dies, it remains alone; but if it dies, it bears much fruit.

And He began telling this parable:“ A man had a fig tree which had been planted in his vineyard; and he came looking for fruit on it and did not find any.And he said to the vineyard keeper,‘ Look! For three years I have come looking for fruit on this fig tree without finding any. Cut it down! Why does it even use up the ground?’But he answered and said to him,‘ Sir, leave it alone for this year too, until I dig around it and put in fertilizer;and if it bears fruit next year, fine; but if not, cut it down.’ ”

And there is salvation in no one else; for there is no other name under heaven that has been given among mankind by which we must be saved.”

But now having been freed from sin and enslaved to God, you derive your benefit, resulting in sanctification, and the outcome, eternal life.

If this man were not from God, He could do nothing.”

And coming to Him as to a living stone which has been rejected by people, but is choice and precious in the sight of God,

For just as the body is one and yet has many parts, and all the parts of the body, though they are many, are one body, so also is Christ.

Now you are Christ’s body, and individually parts of it.

( for the fruit of the light consists in all goodness, righteousness, and truth),

which has come to you, just as in all the world also it is bearing fruit and increasing, even as it has been doing in you also since the day you heard it and understood the grace of God in truth;

so we, who are many, are one body in Christ, and individually parts of one another.

Now He who supplies seed to the sower and bread for food will supply and multiply your seed for sowing and increase the harvest of your righteousness;

Is the cup of blessing which we bless not a sharing in the blood of Christ? Is the bread which we break not a sharing in the body of Christ?

They feed on the sin of My people, And long for their wrongdoing.
