so as to walk in a manner worthy of the Lord, fully pleasing to him: bearing fruit in every good work and increasing in the knowledge of God;

You did not choose me, but I chose you and appointed you that you should go and bear fruit and that your fruit should abide, so that whatever you ask the Father in my name, he may give it to you.

But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness,

The fruit of the righteous is a tree of life, and whoever captures souls is wise.

For we cannot do anything against the truth, but only for the truth.

But grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. To him be the glory both now and to the day of eternity. Amen.

So Jesus said to them,“ Truly, truly, I say to you, the Son can do nothing of his own accord, but only what he sees the Father doing. For whatever the Father does, that the Son does likewise.

Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of lights, with whom there is no variation or shadow due to change.

Likewise, my brothers, you also have died to the law through the body of Christ, so that you may belong to another, to him who has been raised from the dead, in order that we may bear fruit for God.

May grace and peace be multiplied to you in the knowledge of God and of Jesus our Lord.His divine power has granted to us all things that pertain to life and godliness, through the knowledge of him who called us to his own glory and excellence,by which he has granted to us his precious and very great promises, so that through them you may become partakers of the divine nature, having escaped from the corruption that is in the world because of sinful desire.For this very reason, make every effort to supplement your faith with virtue, and virtue with knowledge,and knowledge with self-control, and self-control with steadfastness, and steadfastness with godliness,and godliness with brotherly affection, and brotherly affection with love.For if these qualities are yours and are increasing, they keep you from being ineffective or unfruitful in the knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ.For whoever lacks these qualities is so nearsighted that he is blind, having forgotten that he was cleansed from his former sins.Therefore, brothers, be all the more diligent to confirm your calling and election, for if you practice these qualities you will never fall.For in this way there will be richly provided for you an entrance into the eternal kingdom of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.Therefore I intend always to remind you of these qualities, though you know them and are established in the truth that you have.I think it right, as long as I am in this body, to stir you up by way of reminder,since I know that the putting off of my body will be soon, as our Lord Jesus Christ made clear to me.And I will make every effort so that after my departure you may be able at any time to recall these things.For we did not follow cleverly devised myths when we made known to you the power and coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, but we were eyewitnesses of his majesty.For when he received honor and glory from God the Father, and the voice was borne to him by the Majestic Glory,“ This is my beloved Son, with whom I am well pleased,”we ourselves heard this very voice borne from heaven, for we were with him on the holy mountain.

filled with the fruit of righteousness that comes through Jesus Christ, to the glory and praise of God.

Not that I seek the gift, but I seek the fruit that increases to your credit.

Truly, truly, I say to you, unless a grain of wheat falls into the earth and dies, it remains alone; but if it dies, it bears much fruit.

And he told this parable:“ A man had a fig tree planted in his vineyard, and he came seeking fruit on it and found none.And he said to the vinedresser,‘ Look, for three years now I have come seeking fruit on this fig tree, and I find none. Cut it down. Why should it use up the ground?’And he answered him,‘ Sir, let it alone this year also, until I dig around it and put on manure.Then if it should bear fruit next year, well and good; but if not, you can cut it down.’”

And there is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved.”

But now that you have been set free from sin and have become slaves of God, the fruit you get leads to sanctification and its end, eternal life.

If this man were not from God, he could do nothing.”

As you come to him, a living stone rejected by men but in the sight of God chosen and precious,

For just as the body is one and has many members, and all the members of the body, though many, are one body, so it is with Christ.

Now you are the body of Christ and individually members of it.

( for the fruit of light is found in all that is good and right and true),

which has come to you, as indeed in the whole world it is bearing fruit and increasing— as it also does among you, since the day you heard it and understood the grace of God in truth,

so we, though many, are one body in Christ, and individually members one of another.

He who supplies seed to the sower and bread for food will supply and multiply your seed for sowing and increase the harvest of your righteousness.

The cup of blessing that we bless, is it not a participation in the blood of Christ? The bread that we break, is it not a participation in the body of Christ?

They feed on the sin of my people; they are greedy for their iniquity.
