但那幫助者、我從父那裏所要差來找你們的、真理之靈、從父而出的，那一位來的時候、就要為我作見證了。

但我要从父那里差保惠师来，就是从父出来真理的圣灵；他来了，就要为我作见证。

“我要从父那里为你们差护慰者来，祂就是从父而来的真理之灵。祂来了要为我做见证。

“我从父那里要差来给你们的保惠师，就是从父那里出来的真理的灵，他来到的时候，要为我作见证。

“我将从父那里派遣慰助者来，他就是从父而来的真理的灵。他来的时候，将为我做见证。

但我自父將遣於爾之保惠師、即出於父真理之神、既至、必為我證、

我所遣之保惠師、即真理之神、由父出者、既至、必為我證、

我由父將遣於爾之保慰者、即真理之神、由父而出者、彼既至、必為我作證、

予當自聖父遣發保慰恩師於爾、保慰恩師非他、即真道之神發自聖父者是。彼至必為予作證、

“ When the Advocate comes, whom I will send to you from the Father— the Spirit of truth who goes out from the Father— he will testify about me.

“ I will send the Friend to you from the Father. He is the Spirit of truth, who comes out from the Father. When the Friend comes to help you, he will be a witness about me.

“ But when the Helper comes, whom I will send to you from the Father, the Spirit of truth, who proceeds from the Father, he will bear witness about me.

“ But I will send you the Advocate— the Spirit of truth. He will come to you from the Father and will testify all about me.

“ When the Counselor comes, the one I will send to you from the Father— the Spirit of truth who proceeds from the Father— he will testify about me.

“ When the Helper comes, whom I will send to you from the Father, namely, the Spirit of truth who comes from the Father, He will testify about Me,

“ But when the Helper comes, whom I shall send to you from the Father, the Spirit of truth who proceeds from the Father, He will testify of Me.

But when the Comforter is come, whom I will send unto you from the Father, even the Spirit of truth, which proceedeth from the Father, he shall bear witness of me:

“ When the Counselor comes, the One I will send to you from the Father— the Spirit of truth who proceeds from the Father— He will testify about Me.

But when the Comforter is come, whom I will send unto you from the Father,[ even] the Spirit of truth, which proceedeth from the Father, he shall testify of me:

When the Advocate comes, whom I will send you from the Father– the Spirit of truth who goes out from the Father– he will testify about me,

“ When the Counselor has come, whom I will send to you from the Father, the Spirit of truth, who proceeds from the Father, he will testify about me.

但那幫助者、聖靈、父因我的名所要差的、那一位必將一切事指教你們，也必叫你們想起我所對你們說的一切話。

我要求父，他就必將另一位幫助者賜給你們，叫他永遠和你們同在；就是真理之靈、世人所不能領受的，因為看不見他，也不認識他；你們呢、卻認識他，因為他與你們同住，並且在你們裏面。

我們呢、就是這些事的見證。上帝對服從他權柄的人所賜的聖靈也作見證。』

只等那一位真理之靈來了，他就要引導你們進入一切的真理：因為他不是憑着自己來說話，他乃是要把所聽見的都說出來，並且要把將來的事都傳告你們。那一位必榮耀我，因為他必從我領受，而傳告你們。凡父所有的都是我的：故此我說、他從我領受，就要傳告你們。

耶穌基督：就是那曾藉着水和血而來的：不是單用水，乃是也用水，也用血。並且有靈作見證呢，因為靈就是「真實」。作見證的有三樣：靈、水、和血：這三樣都是要立成那惟一之目的。人的見證、我們若領受、上帝的見證是較大的：因為上帝的見證是為了他兒子而作的。信上帝兒子的、有這見證在他心裏；不信上帝的、已將上帝當做撒謊的了，因為他不信上帝為他兒子所作的見證。

我們為基督而作的見證、就是這樣在你們中間得證實的——

這耶穌、上帝已經使他復起了，我們呢、都是這事的見證人。這樣，他既被高舉在上帝右邊，又從父領受了所應許的聖靈，便將這個、你們所看見所聽見的、傾注下來。

天使指給我看在城內街道當中有一道生命水之河，明亮如水晶從上帝和羔羊的寶座間流出來。

知道人心的上帝也為他們作證，賜予聖靈，正如賜給我們一樣；

然而我將真情告訴你們：我去、是於你們有益的。我若不去，那幫助者就決不會來找你們；我若去，就要差他來找你們。

看吧，我要將我父所應許的遣送出去、到你們身上；你們要停留在城裏，直到你們穿上了從高處來的能力。』

又是上帝、用神迹奇事和各種異能、以及隨他主意而分給人的聖靈之恩賜、所一同證實的。

耶穌對他們說：『上帝如果是你們的父，你們就必愛我；因為我出於上帝，是從上帝而來的。我並沒有憑着自己而來，是他差遣了我的。
