“我從父那裡要差來給你們的保惠師，就是從父那裡出來的真理的靈，他來到的時候，要為我作見證。

但我要从父那里差保惠师来，就是从父出来真理的圣灵；他来了，就要为我作见证。

“我要从父那里为你们差护慰者来，祂就是从父而来的真理之灵。祂来了要为我做见证。

“我将从父那里派遣慰助者来，他就是从父而来的真理的灵。他来的时候，将为我做见证。

但我要從父那裏差保惠師來，就是從父出來真理的聖靈；他來了，就要為我作見證。

「但我要從父那裏差保惠師來，就是從父出來的那真理的靈，他來的時候要為我作見證。

「但我要從父那裏差保惠師來，就是從父出來的那真理的靈，他來的時候要為我作見證。

「我要從父那裡為你們差護慰者來，祂就是從父而來的真理之靈。祂來了要為我做見證。

但那幫助者、我從父那裏所要差來找你們的、真理之靈、從父而出的，那一位來的時候、就要為我作見證了。

「我將從父那裡派遣慰助者來，他就是從父而來的真理的靈。他來的時候，將為我做見證。

但我自父將遣於爾之保惠師、即出於父真理之神、既至、必為我證、

我所遣之保惠師、即真理之神、由父出者、既至、必為我證、

我由父將遣於爾之保慰者、即真理之神、由父而出者、彼既至、必為我作證、

予當自聖父遣發保慰恩師於爾、保慰恩師非他、即真道之神發自聖父者是。彼至必為予作證、

“ When the Advocate comes, whom I will send to you from the Father— the Spirit of truth who goes out from the Father— he will testify about me.

“ I will send the Friend to you from the Father. He is the Spirit of truth, who comes out from the Father. When the Friend comes to help you, he will be a witness about me.

“ But when the Helper comes, whom I will send to you from the Father, the Spirit of truth, who proceeds from the Father, he will bear witness about me.

“ But I will send you the Advocate— the Spirit of truth. He will come to you from the Father and will testify all about me.

“ When the Counselor comes, the one I will send to you from the Father— the Spirit of truth who proceeds from the Father— he will testify about me.

“ When the Helper comes, whom I will send to you from the Father, namely, the Spirit of truth who comes from the Father, He will testify about Me,

“ But when the Helper comes, whom I shall send to you from the Father, the Spirit of truth who proceeds from the Father, He will testify of Me.

But when the Comforter is come, whom I will send unto you from the Father, even the Spirit of truth, which proceedeth from the Father, he shall bear witness of me:

“ When the Counselor comes, the One I will send to you from the Father— the Spirit of truth who proceeds from the Father— He will testify about Me.

But when the Comforter is come, whom I will send unto you from the Father,[ even] the Spirit of truth, which proceedeth from the Father, he shall testify of me:

When the Advocate comes, whom I will send you from the Father– the Spirit of truth who goes out from the Father– he will testify about me,

“ When the Counselor has come, whom I will send to you from the Father, the Spirit of truth, who proceeds from the Father, he will testify about me.

但保惠師，就是父因我的名要差來的聖靈，他要把一切事教導你們，也要使你們想起我對你們所說過的一切話。

我要請求父，他就會賜給你們另一位保惠師，使他跟你們永遠在一起。這保惠師就是真理的靈，世人不能接受他，因為看不見他，也不認識他。你們卻認識他，因為他跟你們住在一起，也要在你們裡面。

我們為這些事作證，神賜給順從的人的聖靈也為這些事作證。”

只等真理的靈來了，他要引導你們進入一切真理。他不是憑著自己說話，而是把他聽見的都說出來，並且要把將來的事告訴你們。他要榮耀我，因為他要把從我那裡所領受的告訴你們。父所有的一切，都是我的；所以我說，他要把從我那裡所領受的告訴你們。

那藉著水和血來的就是耶穌基督，不是單用水，而是用水又用血；作見證的是聖靈，因為聖靈就是真理。原來作見證的有三樣，就是聖靈、水和血，這三樣是一致的。我們若接受人的見證，神的見證就更強而有力了，因為這是神為他的兒子作的見證。信神的兒子的，就有這見證在他心裡；不信神的，就是把神當作說謊的，因為他不信神為他兒子所作的見證。

就如我們為基督所作的見證在你們中間得到堅立一樣，

這位耶穌，神已經使他復活了，我們都是這事的見證人。他既然被高舉到神的右邊，從父領受了所應許的聖靈，就把他澆灌下來，這就是你們所看見所聽見的。

天使又指示我一道明亮如水晶的生命水的河流，從神和羊羔的寶座那裡流出來，

知道人心的神也為他們作證─賜聖靈給他們，像給我們一樣；

但我要把實情告訴你們，我去是對你們有益的。如果我不去，保惠師就不會到你們這裡來；我若去了，就會差他到你們這裡來。

我要使我父的應許臨到你們身上，你們當在城裡等候，直到得著從上面來的能力。”

神又照著自己的旨意，用神蹟、奇事和各樣異能，以及聖靈的恩賜，與他們一同作見證。

耶穌說：“如果神是你們的父，你們就必愛我，因為我是從神那裡來的；我已經來到這裡。我不是憑著自己來的，而是神差了我來。
