耶穌對他們說：「你們若是失明的，就沒有罪了；但現在你們說『我們能看見』，你們的罪還在。」

自從造天地以來，上帝的永能和神性是明明可知的，雖然眼不能見，但藉着所造之物就可以了解看見，叫人無可推諉。

所以，人若知道該行善而不去行，這就是他的罪了。

棄絕我、不領受我話的人自有審判他的；我所講的道在末日要審判他。

世人蒙昧無知的時候，上帝並不追究，如今卻吩咐各處的人都要悔改。

他們如同百姓前來，來到你這裏，坐在你面前彷彿是我的子民。他們聽了你的話，卻不實行；因為他們口裏說愛，心卻追隨財利。看哪，他們看你如同一個唱情歌的人，聲音優雅、善於奏樂；他們聽了你的話，卻不實行。看哪，這話就要應驗；應驗時，他們就知道在他們中間有了先知。」

雖然你們是自由的，卻不可藉着自由遮蓋惡毒，總要作上帝的僕人。

論到那些已經蒙了光照、嘗過天恩的滋味、又於聖靈有份、並嘗過上帝的話的美味，和來世權能的人，若再離棄真道，就不可能使他們重新懊悔了；因為他們親自把上帝的兒子重釘十字架，公然羞辱他。

信他的人不被定罪；不信的人已經被定罪了，因為他不信上帝獨一兒子的名。光來到世上，世人因自己的行為是惡的，不愛光，倒愛黑暗，這就定了他們的罪。凡作惡的人都恨惡光，不來接近光，恐怕他的行為被暴露。但實行真理的人就來接近光，為要顯明他的行為是靠上帝而行的。」

他們是悖逆之家，他們或聽，或不聽，必知道在他們中間有了先知。

耶穌回答他：「若不是從上頭賜給你的，你就毫無權柄辦我，所以，把我交給你的那人罪更重了。」

感謝上帝！他常率領我們在基督裏得勝，並藉着我們在各處顯揚那因認識基督而有的香氣。因為無論在得救的人或在滅亡的人當中，我們都是基督馨香之氣，是獻給上帝的。對滅亡的人，這是死而又死的氣味；對得救的人，這是生而又生的氣味。這些事誰能當得起呢？

在想不到的日子，不知道的時候，那僕人的主人要來，重重地懲罰他，定他和不忠心的人同罪。

所以，你這評斷人的人哪，無論你是誰，都無可推諉。你在甚麼事上評斷人，就在甚麼事上定自己的罪。因你這評斷人的，自己所做的卻和別人一樣。
