其实，所有立志在基督耶稣里过敬虔生活的，都必遭受迫害。

我实实在在告诉你们，仆人不能大过主人，奉差遣的也不能大过差他的人。

“学生不能胜过老师，奴仆也不能胜过主人。

以色列家却不肯听从你，因为他们不肯听从我，整个以色列家都是额坚心硬的。

这些犹太人杀了主耶稣和众先知，又把我们赶出来。他们得不到神的喜悦，并且和所有的人作对，

受到迫害，却没有被丢弃；打倒了，却不至死亡。

并且劳苦，亲手作工。被人咒骂，我们就祝福；遭受迫害，我们就忍受；

谁会相信我们所传的？耶和华的膀臂向谁显露呢？他在耶和华面前如嫩芽生长起来，像根出于干旱之地；他没有佳形，也没有威仪，好叫我们仰慕他；他也没有美貌，使我们被他吸引。他被藐视，被人拒绝，是个多受痛苦，熟悉病患的人。他像个被人掩面不看的人一样；他被藐视，我们也不重视他。

犹太人又拿起石头要打他。

希律和本丢．彼拉多，外族人和以色列民，真的在这城里聚集，反对你所膏立的圣仆耶稣，行了你手和你旨意所预定要成就的一切。主啊，他们恐吓我们，现在求你鉴察，也赐你仆人们大有胆量，传讲你的道。求你伸手医治，藉着你圣仆耶稣的名，大行神迹奇事。”

有哪一个先知，你们的祖先不迫害呢？你们杀了那些预先宣告那义者要来的人，现在又把那义者出卖了，杀害了。你们领受了由天使传达的律法，却不遵守。”众人听了这些话，心中非常恼怒，就向着司提反咬牙切齿。但司提反被圣灵充满，定睛望着天，看见神的荣耀，并且看见耶稣站在神的右边，就说：“看哪！我看见天开了，人子站在神的右边。”众人大声喊叫，掩着耳朵，一齐向他冲过去，把他推出城外，用石头打他。那些证人把自己的衣服，放在一个名叫扫罗的青年人脚前。他们用石头打司提反的时候，他呼求说：“主耶稣啊，求你接收我的灵魂！”然后跪下来大声喊着说：“主啊，不要把这罪归给他们！”说了这话，就睡了。

从此犹太人就迫害耶稣，因为他常常在安息日作这些事。

我实实在在告诉你们，人若遵守我的道，必定永远不见死亡。”

祭司长和法利赛人早已下了命令：如果有人知道耶稣在哪里，就要前来报告，好去逮捕他。

于是他们拿起石头要打他。耶稣却躲起来，从殿里出去了。

西面给他们祝福，对他母亲马利亚说：“看哪！这孩子被立，要叫以色列中许多人跌倒，许多人兴起，又要成为反对的目标，

法利赛人听见群众纷纷议论这些关于耶稣的事，祭司长和法利赛人就派差役去逮捕耶稣。

耶和华对撒母耳说：“众民对你所说的一切，你只管听从，因为他们不是厌弃你，而是厌弃我，不要我作他们的王。

学生不能胜过老师，所有学成的，不过和老师一样。
