Every branch in me that doesn’t bear fruit, he takes away. Every branch that bears fruit, he prunes, that it may bear more fruit.

枝之在我、而不結實者、彼則截之；其結實者、彼則裁之、使結實彌茂。

He cuts off every branch in me that bears no fruit, while every branch that does bear fruit he prunes so that it will be even more fruitful.

He cuts off every branch joined to me that does not bear fruit. He trims every branch that does bear fruit. Then it will bear even more fruit.

Every branch in me that does not bear fruit he takes away, and every branch that does bear fruit he prunes, that it may bear more fruit.

“ Even now the ax lies at the root of the trees. Therefore every tree that doesn’t produce good fruit is cut down, and cast into the fire.

For they indeed, for a few days, punished us as seemed good to them; but he for our profit, that we may be partakers of his holiness.All chastening seems for the present to be not joyous but grievous; yet afterward it yields the peaceful fruit of righteousness to those who have been trained by it.

But he answered,“ Every plant which my heavenly Father didn’t plant will be uprooted.

As many as I love, I reprove and chasten. Be zealous therefore, and repent.

He said to the vine dresser,‘ Behold, these three years I have come looking for fruit on this fig tree, and found none. Cut it down. Why does it waste the soil?’He answered,‘ Lord, leave it alone this year also, until I dig around it and fertilize it.If it bears fruit, fine; but if not, after that, you can cut it down.’”

May the God of peace himself sanctify you completely. May your whole spirit, soul, and body be preserved blameless at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.He who calls you is faithful, who will also do it.

For the land which has drunk the rain that comes often on it and produces a crop suitable for them for whose sake it is also tilled, receives blessing from God;but if it bears thorns and thistles, it is rejected and near being cursed, whose end is to be burned.

“ In this my Father is glorified, that you bear much fruit; and so you will be my disciples.

For whoever has, to him will be given, and he will have abundance, but whoever doesn’t have, from him will be taken away even that which he has.

Yet the righteous will hold to his way. He who has clean hands will grow stronger and stronger.

But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faith,gentleness, and self- control. Against such things there is no law.

This I pray, that your love may abound yet more and more in knowledge and all discernment,so that you may approve the things that are excellent, that you may be sincere and without offense to the day of Christ,being filled with the fruits of righteousness, which are through Jesus Christ, to the glory and praise of God.

Seeing a fig tree by the road, he came to it, and found nothing on it but leaves. He said to it,“ Let there be no fruit from you forever!” Immediately the fig tree withered away.

and he will sit as a refiner and purifier of silver, and he will purify the sons of Levi, and refine them as gold and silver; and they shall offer to Yahweh offerings in righteousness.

looking carefully lest there be any man who falls short of the grace of God, lest any root of bitterness springing up trouble you, and many be defiled by it,

Those on the rock are they who, when they hear, receive the word with joy; but these have no root, who believe for a while, then fall away in time of temptation.

Purify me with hyssop, and I will be clean. Wash me, and I will be whiter than snow.Let me hear joy and gladness, that the bones which you have broken may rejoice.Hide your face from my sins, and blot out all of my iniquities.Create in me a clean heart, O God. Renew a right spirit within me.Don’t throw me from your presence, and don’t take your Holy Spirit from me.Restore to me the joy of your salvation. Uphold me with a willing spirit.Then I will teach transgressors your ways. Sinners will be converted to you.

For our light affliction, which is for the moment, works for us more and more exceedingly an eternal weight of glory,while we don’t look at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen. For the things which are seen are temporal, but the things which are not seen are eternal.

While I was with them in the world, I kept them in your name. I have kept those whom you have given me. None of them is lost except the son of destruction, that the Scripture might be fulfilled.

Let’s acknowledge Yahweh. Let’s press on to know Yahweh. As surely as the sun rises, Yahweh will appear. He will come to us like the rain, like the spring rain that waters the earth.”

because of the hope which is laid up for you in the heavens, of which you heard before in the word of the truth of the Good Newswhich has come to you, even as it is in all the world and is bearing fruit and growing, as it does in you also, since the day you heard and knew the grace of God in truth,even as you learned of Epaphras our beloved fellow servant, who is a faithful servant of Christ on your behalf,who also declared to us your love in the Spirit.For this cause, we also, since the day we heard this, don’t cease praying and making requests for you, that you may be filled with the knowledge of his will in all spiritual wisdom and understanding,that you may walk worthily of the Lord, to please him in all respects, bearing fruit in every good work and increasing in the knowledge of God,

You didn’t choose me, but I chose you and appointed you, that you should go and bear fruit, and that your fruit should remain; that whatever you will ask of the Father in my name, he may give it to you.

The humble also will increase their joy in Yahweh, and the poor among men will rejoice in the Holy One of Israel.

He spoke another parable to them.“ The Kingdom of Heaven is like yeast, which a woman took, and hid in three measures of meal, until it was all leavened.”

Not only this, but we also rejoice in our sufferings, knowing that suffering produces perseverance;and perseverance, proven character; and proven character, hope:and hope doesn’t disappoint us, because God’s love has been poured into our hearts through the Holy Spirit who was given to us.

If I speak with the languages of men and of angels, but don’t have love, I have become sounding brass, or a clanging cymbal.

But the path of the righteous is like the dawning light that shines more and more until the perfect day.

who gave himself for us, that he might redeem us from all iniquity, and purify for himself a people for his own possession, zealous for good works.

We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, for those who are called according to his purpose.

Therefore by this the iniquity of Jacob will be forgiven, and this is all the fruit of taking away his sin: that he makes all the stones of the altar as chalk stones that are beaten in pieces, so that the Asherah poles and the incense altars shall rise no more.
