He cuts off every branch in me that bears no fruit, while every branch that does bear fruit he prunes so that it will be even more fruitful.

He cuts off every branch joined to me that does not bear fruit. He trims every branch that does bear fruit. Then it will bear even more fruit.

Every branch in me that does not bear fruit he takes away, and every branch that does bear fruit he prunes, that it may bear more fruit.

For they indeed for a few days chastened us as seemed good to them; but he for our profit, that we may be partakers of his holiness.All chastening seemeth for the present to be not joyous but grievous; yet afterward it yieldeth peaceable fruit unto them that have been exercised thereby, even the fruit of righteousness.

For the land which hath drunk the rain that cometh oft upon it, and bringeth forth herbs meet for them for whose sake it is also tilled, receiveth blessing from God:but if it beareth thorns and thistles, it is rejected and nigh unto a curse; whose end is to be burned.

But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness,meekness, self- control; against such there is no law.

And this I pray, that your love may abound yet more and more in knowledge and all discernment;so that ye may approve the things that are excellent; that ye may be sincere and void of offence unto the day of Christ;being filled with the fruits of righteousness, which are through Jesus Christ, unto the glory and praise of God.

And seeing a fig tree by the way side, he came to it, and found nothing thereon, but leaves only; and he saith unto it, Let there be no fruit from thee henceforward for ever. And immediately the fig tree withered away.

and he will sit as a refiner and purifier of silver, and he will purify the sons of Levi, and refine them as gold and silver; and they shall offer unto Jehovah offerings in righteousness.

looking carefully lest there be any man that falleth short of the grace of God; lest any root of bitterness springing up trouble you, and thereby the many be defiled;

And those on the rock are they who, when they have heard, receive the word with joy; and these have no root, who for a while believe, and in time of temptation fall away.

Purify me with hyssop, and I shall be clean: Wash me, and I shall be whiter than snow.Make me to hear joy and gladness, That the bones which thou hast broken may rejoice.Hide thy face from my sins, And blot out all mine iniquities.Create in me a clean heart, O God; And renew a right spirit within me.Cast me not away from thy presence; And take not thy holy Spirit from me.Restore unto me the joy of thy salvation; And uphold me with a willing spirit.Then will I teach transgressors thy ways; And sinners shall be converted unto thee.

For our light affliction, which is for the moment, worketh for us more and more exceedingly an eternal weight of glory;while we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen: for the things which are seen are temporal; but the things which are not seen are eternal.

While I was with them, I kept them in thy name which thou hast given me: and I guarded them, and not one of them perished, but the son of perdition; that the scripture might be fulfilled.

And let us know, let us follow on to know Jehovah: his going forth is sure as the morning; and he will come unto us as the rain, as the latter rain that watereth the earth.

because of the hope which is laid up for you in the heavens, whereof ye heard before in the word of the truth of the gospel,which is come unto you; even as it is also in all the world bearing fruit and increasing, as it doth in you also, since the day ye heard and knew the grace of God in truth;even as ye learned of Epaphras our beloved fellow- servant, who is a faithful minister of Christ on our behalf,who also declared unto us your love in the Spirit.For this cause we also, since the day we heard it, do not cease to pray and make request for you, that ye may be filled with the knowledge of his will in all spiritual wisdom and understanding,to walk worthily of the Lord unto all pleasing, bearing fruit in every good work, and increasing in the knowledge of God;

Ye did not choose me, but I chose you, and appointed you, that ye should go and bear fruit, and that your fruit should abide: that whatsoever ye shall ask of the Father in my name, he may give it you.

The meek also shall increase their joy in Jehovah, and the poor among men shall rejoice in the Holy One of Israel.

Another parable spake he unto them; The kingdom of heaven is like unto leaven, which a woman took, and hid in three measures of meal, till it was all leavened.

And not only so, but we also rejoice in our tribulations: knowing that tribulation worketh stedfastness;and stedfastness, approvedness; and approvedness, hope:and hope putteth not to shame; because the love of God hath been shed abroad in our hearts through the Holy Spirit which was given unto us.

If I speak with the tongues of men and of angels, but have not love, I am become sounding brass, or a clanging cymbal.

But the path of the righteous is as the dawning light, That shineth more and more unto the perfect day.

who gave himself for us, that he might redeem us from all iniquity, and purify unto himself a people for his own possession, zealous of good works.

And we know that to them that love God all things work together for good, even to them that are called according to his purpose.

Therefore by this shall the iniquity of Jacob be forgiven, and this is all the fruit of taking away his sin: that he maketh all the stones of the altar as chalkstones that are beaten in sunder, so that the Asherim and the sun- images shall rise no more.
