“ Before I formed you in the womb I knew you, And before you were born I consecrated you; I have appointed you as a prophet to the nations.”Then I said,“ Oh, Lord God! Behold, I do not know how to speak, Because I am a youth.”But the Lord said to me,“ Do not say,‘ I am a youth,’ Because everywhere I send you, you shall go, And all that I command you, you shall speak.

but sanctify Christ as Lord in your hearts, always being ready to make a defense to everyone who asks you to give an account for the hope that is in you, but with gentleness and respect;

And when day came, He called His disciples to Him and chose twelve of them, whom He also named as apostles:

We love, because He first loved us.

For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand so that we would walk in them.

And on that day you will not question Me about anything. Truly, truly I say to you, if you ask the Father for anything in My name, He will give it to you.Until now you have asked for nothing in My name; ask and you will receive, so that your joy may be made full.

Jesus answered them,“ Did I Myself not choose you, the twelve? And yet one of you is a devil.”

And even when I am old and gray, God, do not abandon me, Until I declare Your strength to this generation, Your power to all who are to come.

And whatever you ask in My name, this I will do, so that the Father may be glorified in the Son.If you ask Me anything in My name, I will do it.

And Jesus came up and spoke to them, saying,“ All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to Me.Go, therefore, and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit,

And they prayed and said,“ You, Lord, who know the hearts of all people, show which one of these two You have chosen

As obedient children, do not be conformed to the former lusts which were yours in your ignorance,but like the Holy One who called you, be holy yourselves also in all your behavior;because it is written:“ You shall be holy, for I am holy.”If you address as Father the One who impartially judges according to each one’s work, conduct yourselves in fear during the time of your stay on earth;knowing that you were not redeemed with perishable things like silver or gold from your futile way of life inherited from your forefathers,but with precious blood, as of a lamb unblemished and spotless, the blood of Christ.For He was foreknown before the foundation of the world, but has appeared in these last times for the sake of youwho through Him are believers in God, who raised Him from the dead and gave Him glory, so that your faith and hope are in God.

Listen to Me, you islands, And pay attention, you peoples from afar. The Lord called Me from the womb; From the body of My mother He named Me.He has made My mouth like a sharp sword, In the shadow of His hand He has concealed Me; And He has also made Me a sharpened arrow, He has hidden Me in His quiver.He said to Me,“ You are My Servant, Israel, In whom I will show My glory.”

And He said to them,“ Go into all the world and preach the gospel to all creation.The one who has believed and has been baptized will be saved; but the one who has not believed will be condemned.

In the days to come Jacob will take root, Israel will blossom and sprout, And they will fill the whole world with fruit.

If you remain in Me, and My words remain in you, ask whatever you wish, and it will be done for you.My Father is glorified by this, that you bear much fruit, and so prove to be My disciples.

For as the rain and the snow come down from heaven, And do not return there without watering the earth And making it produce and sprout, And providing seed to the sower and bread to the eater;So will My word be which goes out of My mouth; It will not return to Me empty, Without accomplishing what I desire, And without succeeding in the purpose for which I sent it.For you will go out with joy And be led in peace; The mountains and the hills will break into shouts of joy before you, And all the trees of the field will clap their hands.Instead of the thorn bush, the juniper will come up, And instead of the stinging nettle, the myrtle will come up; And it will be a memorial to the Lord, An everlasting sign which will not be eliminated.”

We will not conceal them from their children, But we will tell the generation to come the praises of the Lord, And His power and His wondrous works that He has done.For He established a testimony in Jacob, And appointed a law in Israel, Which He commanded our fathers That they were to teach them to their children,So that the generation to come would know, the children yet to be born, That they would arise and tell them to their children,

Or does the potter not have a right over the clay, to make from the same lump one object for honorable use, and another for common use?

For whatever was written in earlier times was written for our instruction, so that through perseverance and the encouragement of the Scriptures we might have hope.

And whatever you ask in prayer, believing, you will receive it all.”

Now when they had finished breakfast, Jesus* said to Simon Peter,“ Simon, son of John, do you love Me more than these?” He* said to Him,“ Yes, Lord; You know that I love You.” He* said to him,“ Tend My lambs.”He* said to him again, a second time,“ Simon, son of John, do you love Me?” He* said to Him,“ Yes, Lord; You know that I love You.” He* said to him,“ Shepherd My sheep.”He* said to him the third time,“ Simon, son of John, do you love Me?” Peter was hurt because He said to him the third time,“ Do you love Me?” And he said to Him,“ Lord, You know all things; You know that I love You.” Jesus* said to him,“ Tend My sheep.

One generation will praise Your works to another, And will declare Your mighty acts.

So Jesus said to them again,“ Peace be to you; just as the Father has sent Me, I also send you.”And when He had said this, He breathed on them and* said to them,“ Receive the Holy Spirit.If you forgive the sins of any, their sins have been forgiven them; if you retain the sins of any, they have been retained.”

The fruit of the righteous is a tree of life, And one who is wise gains souls.

But the Lord said to him,“ Go, for he is a chosen instrument of Mine, to bear My name before the Gentiles and kings and the sons of Israel;

For if I preach the gospel, I have nothing to boast about, for I am under compulsion; for woe to me if I do not preach the gospel.For if I do this voluntarily, I have a reward; but if against my will, I have been entrusted with a commission nonetheless.What, then, is my reward? That, when I preach the gospel, I may offer the gospel without charge, so as not to make full use of my right in the gospel.

Now these things happened to them as an example, and they were written for our instruction, upon whom the ends of the ages have come.

For this reason I left you in Crete, that you would set in order what remains and appoint elders in every city as I directed you,

for which I was appointed a preacher, an apostle, and a teacher.

and that repentance for forgiveness of sins would be proclaimed in His name to all the nations, beginning from Jerusalem.You are witnesses of these things.And behold, I am sending the promise of My Father upon you; but you are to stay in the city until you are clothed with power from on high.”

as they observe your pure and respectful behavior.

which has come to you, just as in all the world also it is bearing fruit and increasing, even as it has been doing in you also since the day you heard it and understood the grace of God in truth;

Then the remnant of Jacob Will be among many peoples Like dew from the Lord, Like showers on vegetation That do not wait for man, Or delay for mankind.

for though the twins were not yet born and had not done anything good or bad, so that God’s purpose according to His choice would stand, not because of works but because of Him who calls,it was said to her,“ The older will serve the younger.”Just as it is written:“ Jacob I have loved, but Esau I have hated.”What shall we say then? There is no injustice with God, is there? Far from it!For He says to Moses,“ I will have mercy on whomever I have mercy, and I will show compassion to whomever I show compassion.”So then, it does not depend on the person who wants it nor the one who runs, but on God who has mercy.

For this I was appointed as a preacher and an apostle( I am telling the truth, I am not lying), as a teacher of the Gentiles in faith and truth.

“ And now behold, I know that all of you, among whom I went about preaching the kingdom, will no longer see my face.Therefore, I testify to you this day that I am innocent of the blood of all people.For I did not shrink from declaring to you the whole purpose of God.Be on guard for yourselves and for all the flock, among which the Holy Spirit has made you overseers, to shepherd the church of God which He purchased with His own blood.

And the fruit of righteousness is sown in peace by those who make peace.

But I have written very boldly to you on some points so as to remind you again, because of the grace that was given to me from God,to be a minister of Christ Jesus to the Gentiles, ministering as a priest the gospel of God, so that my offering of the Gentiles may become acceptable, sanctified by the Holy Spirit.Therefore in Christ Jesus I have found reason for boasting in things pertaining to God.For I will not presume to speak of anything except what Christ has accomplished through me, resulting in the obedience of the Gentiles by word and deed,in the power of signs and wonders, in the power of the Spirit; so that from Jerusalem and all around as far as Illyricum I have fully preached the gospel of Christ.

By faith Abel offered to God a better sacrifice than Cain, through which he was attested to be righteous, God testifying about his gifts, and through faith, though he is dead, he still speaks.

through whom we have received grace and apostleship to bring about the obedience of faith among all the Gentiles in behalf of His name,

I do not want you to be unaware, brothers and sisters, that often I have planned to come to you( and have been prevented so far) so that I may obtain some fruit among you also just as among the rest of the Gentiles.

I planted, Apollos watered, but God was causing the growth.So then neither the one who plants nor the one who waters is anything, but God who causes the growth.

if indeed you continue in the faith firmly established and steadfast, and not shifting from the hope of the gospel that you have heard, which was proclaimed in all creation under heaven, and of which I, Paul, was made a minister.

“ Do not be like your fathers, to whom the former prophets proclaimed, saying,‘ This is what the Lord of armies says:“ Return now from your evil ways and from your evil deeds.” ’ But they did not listen or pay attention to Me,” declares the Lord.“ Your fathers, where are they? And the prophets, do they live forever?But did My words and My statutes, which I commanded My servants the prophets, not overtake your fathers? Then they repented and said,‘ Just as the Lord of armies planned to do to us in accordance with our ways and our deeds, so He has dealt with us.’ ” ’ ”

not to all the people, but to witnesses who had been chosen beforehand by God, that is, to us who ate and drank with Him after He arose from the dead.

but you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you shall be My witnesses both in Jerusalem and in all Judea, and Samaria, and as far as the remotest part of the earth.”

since Abraham will certainly become a great and mighty nation, and in him all the nations of the earth will be blessed?
