Philip said,“ Lord, show us the Father, and we will be satisfied.”

腓力說：“主啊，請把父顯示給我們，我們就滿足了。”

腓力對耶穌說：『主啊，將父指給我們看，我們就滿足了。』

腓力說：「主啊，請給我們看看父，我們就滿足了。」

Philip said,“ Lord, show us the Father and that will be enough for us.”

“ Lord,” said Philip,“ show us the Father, and that’s enough for us.”

Philip saith unto him, Lord, show us the Father, and it sufficeth us.

“ Lord,” said Philip,“ show us the Father, and that’s enough for us.”

Philip said to him,“ Lord, show us the Father, and that will be enough for us.”

Moses responded,“ Then show me your glorious presence.”The Lord replied,“ I will make all my goodness pass before you, and I will call out my name, Yahweh, before you. For I will show mercy to anyone I choose, and I will show compassion to anyone I choose.But you may not look directly at my face, for no one may see me and live.”The Lord continued,“ Look, stand near me on this rock.As my glorious presence passes by, I will hide you in the crevice of the rock and cover you with my hand until I have passed by.Then I will remove my hand and let you see me from behind. But my face will not be seen.”

Jesus soon saw a huge crowd of people coming to look for him. Turning to Philip, he asked,“ Where can we buy bread to feed all these people?”He was testing Philip, for he already knew what he was going to do.Philip replied,“ Even if we worked for months, we wouldn’t have enough money to feed them!”

No longer will there be a curse upon anything. For the throne of God and of the Lamb will be there, and his servants will worship him.And they will see his face, and his name will be written on their foreheads.And there will be no night there— no need for lamps or sun— for the Lord God will shine on them. And they will reign forever and ever.

The next day Jesus decided to go to Galilee. He found Philip and said to him,“ Come, follow me.”Philip was from Bethsaida, Andrew and Peter’s hometown.Philip went to look for Nathanael and told him,“ We have found the very person Moses and the prophets wrote about! His name is Jesus, the son of Joseph from Nazareth.”“ Nazareth!” exclaimed Nathanael.“ Can anything good come from Nazareth?”“ Come and see for yourself,” Philip replied.

Then the Lord came down in a cloud and stood there with him; and he called out his own name, Yahweh.The Lord passed in front of Moses, calling out,“ Yahweh! The Lord! The God of compassion and mercy! I am slow to anger and filled with unfailing love and faithfulness.I lavish unfailing love to a thousand generations. I forgive iniquity, rebellion, and sin. But I do not excuse the guilty. I lay the sins of the parents upon their children and grandchildren; the entire family is affected— even children in the third and fourth generations.”

paid a visit to Philip, who was from Bethsaida in Galilee. They said,“ Sir, we want to meet Jesus.”Philip told Andrew about it, and they went together to ask Jesus.

When he prays to God, he will be accepted. And God will receive him with joy and restore him to good standing.

Because I am righteous, I will see you. When I awake, I will see you face to face and be satisfied.

I have seen you in your sanctuary and gazed upon your power and glory.

“ I have spoken of these matters in figures of speech, but soon I will stop speaking figuratively and will tell you plainly all about the Father.

God blesses those whose hearts are pure, for they will see God.
