Philip said to Him,“ Lord, show us the Father, and it is sufficient for us.”

腓力說：「主啊！求你讓我們看看父，我們就心滿意足了。」

腓力說：“主啊，請把父顯示給我們，我們就滿足了。”

腓力對耶穌說：『主啊，將父指給我們看，我們就滿足了。』

腓力說：「主啊，請給我們看看父，我們就滿足了。」

Philip said,“ Lord, show us the Father and that will be enough for us.”

Philip said,“ Lord, show us the Father, and we will be satisfied.”

“ Lord,” said Philip,“ show us the Father, and that’s enough for us.”

And he said,“ Please, show me Your glory.”Then He said,“ I will make all My goodness pass before you, and I will proclaim the name of the Lord before you. I will be gracious to whom I will be gracious, and I will have compassion on whom I will have compassion.”But He said,“ You cannot see My face; for no man shall see Me, and live.”And the Lord said,“ Here is a place by Me, and you shall stand on the rock.So it shall be, while My glory passes by, that I will put you in the cleft of the rock, and will cover you with My hand while I pass by.Then I will take away My hand, and you shall see My back; but My face shall not be seen.”

Then Jesus lifted up His eyes, and seeing a great multitude coming toward Him, He said to Philip,“ Where shall we buy bread, that these may eat?”But this He said to test him, for He Himself knew what He would do.Philip answered Him,“ Two hundred denarii worth of bread is not sufficient for them, that every one of them may have a little.”

And there shall be no more curse, but the throne of God and of the Lamb shall be in it, and His servants shall serve Him.They shall see His face, and His name shall be on their foreheads.There shall be no night there: They need no lamp nor light of the sun, for the Lord God gives them light. And they shall reign forever and ever.

The following day Jesus wanted to go to Galilee, and He found Philip and said to him,“ Follow Me.”Now Philip was from Bethsaida, the city of Andrew and Peter.Philip found Nathanael and said to him,“ We have found Him of whom Moses in the law, and also the prophets, wrote— Jesus of Nazareth, the son of Joseph.”And Nathanael said to him,“ Can anything good come out of Nazareth?” Philip said to him,“ Come and see.”

Now the Lord descended in the cloud and stood with him there, and proclaimed the name of the Lord.And the Lord passed before him and proclaimed,“ The Lord, the Lord God, merciful and gracious, longsuffering, and abounding in goodness and truth,keeping mercy for thousands, forgiving iniquity and transgression and sin, by no means clearing the guilty, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children and the children’s children to the third and the fourth generation.”

Then they came to Philip, who was from Bethsaida of Galilee, and asked him, saying,“ Sir, we wish to see Jesus.”Philip came and told Andrew, and in turn Andrew and Philip told Jesus.

He shall pray to God, and He will delight in him, He shall see His face with joy, For He restores to man His righteousness.

As for me, I will see Your face in righteousness; I shall be satisfied when I awake in Your likeness.

So I have looked for You in the sanctuary, To see Your power and Your glory.

“ These things I have spoken to you in figurative language; but the time is coming when I will no longer speak to you in figurative language, but I will tell you plainly about the Father.

Blessed are the pure in heart, For they shall see God.
