Thomas saith unto him, Lord, we know not whither thou goest; how know we the way?

多馬對他說：「主啊，我們不知道你往哪裏去，怎麼知道那條路呢？」

多馬對耶穌說：『主啊，你所去的地方、我們尚且不知道，怎麼知道那條路呢？』

多馬說：「主啊，我們不知道你要到哪裡去，怎麼能知道那條路呢？」

多馬曰、主、爾所往、我且不知、焉知其途乎、

多馬曰、主往之所、我儕且不知、況其途乎、

多瑪曰、主往之所、我儕不知、何能知其途乎、

多默曰：『主乎、吾儕既不知爾之所往、又焉能識其途哉？』

Thomas said to him,“ Lord, we don’t know where you are going, so how can we know the way?”

Thomas said to him,“ Lord, we do not know where you are going. How can we know the way?”

“ No, we don’t know, Lord,” Thomas said.“ We have no idea where you are going, so how can we know the way?”

“ Lord,” Thomas said,“ we don’t know where you’re going. How can we know the way?”

Thomas* said to Him,“ Lord, we do not know where You are going; how do we know the way?”

Thomas said to Him,“ Lord, we do not know where You are going, and how can we know the way?”

“ Lord,” Thomas said,“ we don’t know where You’re going. How can we know the way?”

Thomas saith unto him, Lord, we know not whither thou goest; and how can we know the way?

Thomas therefore, who is called Didymus, said unto his fellow- disciples, Let us also go, that we may die with him.

This is my commandment, that ye love one another, even as I have loved you.

And he answereth them and saith, O faithless generation, how long shall I be with you? how long shall I bear with you? bring him unto me.

Of whom we have many things to say, and hard of interpretation, seeing ye are become dull of hearing.For when by reason of the time ye ought to be teachers, ye have need again that some one teach you the rudiments of the first principles of the oracles of God; and are become such as have need of milk, and not of solid food.

And he said unto them, O foolish men, and slow of heart to believe in all that the prophets have spoken!

And Jesus perceiving it saith unto them, Why reason ye, because ye have no bread? do ye not yet perceive, neither understand? have ye your heart hardened?Having eyes, see ye not? and having ears, hear ye not? and do ye not remember?

The other disciples therefore said unto him, We have seen the Lord. But he said unto them, Except I shall see in his hands the print of the nails, and put my finger into the print of the nails, and put my hand into his side, I will not believe.And after eight days again his disciples were within, and Thomas with them. Jesus cometh, the doors being shut, and stood in the midst, and said, Peace be unto you.Then saith he to Thomas, Reach hither thy finger, and see my hands; and reach hither thy hand, and put it into my side: and be not faithless, but believing.Thomas answered and said unto him, My Lord and my God.
