因為我沒有憑著自己說話，而是差我來的父給了我命令，要我說甚麼，講甚麼。

既然有人的樣子，就自甘卑微，順服至死，而且死在十字架上。

耶穌說：“我的食物就是遵行差我來者的旨意，並且完成他的工作。

基督在世的時候，曾經流淚大聲禱告懇求那位能救他脫離死亡的神；因著他的敬虔，就蒙了應允。他雖然是兒子，還是因著所受的苦難學會了順從。

“我現在心裡煩亂，我應該說甚麼呢？說‘父啊，救我脫離這時刻’嗎？然而我正是為了這個緣故來的，要面對這時刻。

父怎樣愛我，我也怎樣愛你們；你們要住在我的愛裡。

所以，基督到世上來的時候，就說：“祭品和禮物不是你所要的，你卻為我預備了身體。燔祭和贖罪祭，不是你所喜悅的；那時我說：‘看哪！我來了，經卷上已經記載我的事，神啊！我來是要遵行你的旨意。’”前面說：“祭品和禮物，燔祭和贖罪祭，不是你所要的，也不是你所喜悅的。”這些都是按照律法獻的；接著又說：“看哪！我來了，是要遵行你的旨意。”可見他廢除那先前的，為要建立那後來的。

我的神啊！我樂意遵行你的旨意；你的律法常在我的心裡。”

耶穌對彼得說：“把刀收入鞘裡去！父給我的杯，我怎能不喝呢？”

專一注視耶穌，就是那位信心的創造者和完成者。他因為那擺在面前的喜樂，就忍受了十字架，輕看了羞辱，現在就坐在神寶座的右邊。這位忍受罪人那樣頂撞的耶穌，你們要仔細思想，免得疲倦灰心。

耶穌說完了這些話，就和門徒出去，過了汲淪溪。在那裡有一個園子，耶穌和門徒進去了。出賣耶穌的猶大也知道那地方，因為耶穌和門徒常常在那裡聚集。那時，猶大帶著一隊兵，還有祭司長和法利賽人的差役，拿著燈籠、火把、武器，來到園子裡。耶穌知道快要臨到他身上的一切事，就出來對他們說：“你們找誰？”

起來，我們走吧！出賣我的人來了。”
