The one who has My commands and keeps them is the one who loves Me. And the one who loves Me will be loved by My Father. I also will love him and will reveal Myself to him.”Judas( not Iscariot) said to Him,“ Lord, how is it You’re going to reveal Yourself to us and not to the world?”Jesus answered,“ If anyone loves Me, he will keep My word. My Father will love him, and We will come to him and make Our home with him.

For God sent Him, and He speaks God’s words, since He gives the Spirit without measure.

This is how we have come to know love: He laid down His life for us. We should also lay down our lives for our brothers.If anyone has this world’s goods and sees his brother in need but closes his eyes to his need— how can God’s love reside in him?Little children, we must not love with word or speech, but with truth and action.This is how we will know we belong to the truth and will convince our conscience in His presence,even if our conscience condemns us, that God is greater than our conscience, and He knows all things.

“ If you love Me, you will keep My commands.

Then Jesus replied,“ I assure you: The Son is not able to do anything on His own, but only what He sees the Father doing. For whatever the Father does, the Son also does these things in the same way.

Then He will also say to those on the left,‘ Depart from Me, you who are cursed, into the eternal fire prepared for the Devil and his angels!For I was hungry and you gave Me nothing to eat; I was thirsty and you gave Me nothing to drink;I was a stranger and you didn’t take Me in; I was naked and you didn’t clothe Me, sick and in prison and you didn’t take care of Me.’“ Then they too will answer,‘ Lord, when did we see You hungry, or thirsty, or a stranger, or without clothes, or sick, or in prison, and not help You?’“ Then He will answer them,‘ I assure you: Whatever you did not do for one of the least of these, you did not do for Me either.’“ And they will go away into eternal punishment, but the righteous into eternal life.”

“ I have many things to say and to judge about you, but the One who sent Me is true, and what I have heard from Him— these things I tell the world.”

I speak what I have seen in the presence of the Father; therefore, you do what you have heard from your father.”

So Jesus said to them,“ When you lift up the Son of Man, then you will know that I am He, and that I do nothing on My own. But just as the Father taught Me, I say these things.

Then Jesus cried out,“ The one who believes in Me believes not in Me, but in Him who sent Me.And the one who sees Me sees Him who sent Me.I have come as a light into the world, so that everyone who believes in Me would not remain in darkness.If anyone hears My words and doesn’t keep them, I do not judge him; for I did not come to judge the world but to save the world.The one who rejects Me and doesn’t accept My sayings has this as his judge: The word I have spoken will judge him on the last day.For I have not spoken on My own, but the Father Himself who sent Me has given Me a command as to what I should say and what I should speak.I know that His command is eternal life. So the things that I speak, I speak just as the Father has told Me.”

As He was teaching in the temple complex, Jesus cried out,“ You know Me and you know where I am from. Yet I have not come on My own, but the One who sent Me is true. You don’t know Him;

I am not saying this as a command. Rather, by means of the diligence of others, I am testing the genuineness of your love.For you know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ: Though He was rich, for your sake He became poor, so that by His poverty you might become rich.

“ If you want to be perfect,” Jesus said to him,“ go, sell your belongings and give to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven. Then come, follow Me.”
