尚有片時、而世不復見我、惟爾曹見我、因我生、爾亦必生、

瞬息之間、世將不復見予、爾獨見予。蓋予永生、爾亦因以有生焉。

Before long, the world will not see me anymore. But you will see me. Because I live, you will live also.

Jesus went on to say,“ In a little while you will see me no more, and then after a little while you will see me.”

Jesus said,“ I am with you for only a short time, and then I am going to the one who sent me.

Therefore he is able to save completely those who come to God through him, because he always lives to intercede for them.

Whoever eats my flesh and drinks my blood remains in me, and I in them.Just as the living Father sent me and I live because of the Father, so the one who feeds on me will live because of me.This is the bread that came down from heaven. Your ancestors ate manna and died, but whoever feeds on this bread will live forever.”

Who then is the one who condemns? No one. Christ Jesus who died— more than that, who was raised to life— is at the right hand of God and is also interceding for us.

Jesus said to her,“ I am the resurrection and the life. The one who believes in me will live, even though they die;

For if, while we were God’s enemies, we were reconciled to him through the death of his Son, how much more, having been reconciled, shall we be saved through his life!

So with you: Now is your time of grief, but I will see you again and you will rejoice, and no one will take away your joy.

So it is written:“ The first man Adam became a living being”; the last Adam, a life-giving spirit.

We always carry around in our body the death of Jesus, so that the life of Jesus may also be revealed in our body.For we who are alive are always being given over to death for Jesus’ sake, so that his life may also be revealed in our mortal body.So then, death is at work in us, but life is at work in you.

Jesus answered,“ I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.

For you died, and your life is now hidden with Christ in God.When Christ, who is your life, appears, then you also will appear with him in glory.

Then Jesus told them,“ You are going to have the light just a little while longer. Walk while you have the light, before darkness overtakes you. Whoever walks in the dark does not know where they are going.

“ My children, I will be with you only a little longer. You will look for me, and just as I told the Jews, so I tell you now: Where I am going, you cannot come.

That which was from the beginning, which we have heard, which we have seen with our eyes, which we have looked at and our hands have touched— this we proclaim concerning the Word of life.The life appeared; we have seen it and testify to it, and we proclaim to you the eternal life, which was with the Father and has appeared to us.We proclaim to you what we have seen and heard, so that you also may have fellowship with us. And our fellowship is with the Father and with his Son, Jesus Christ.

Once more Jesus said to them,“ I am going away, and you will look for me, and you will die in your sin. Where I go, you cannot come.”

But Christ has indeed been raised from the dead, the firstfruits of those who have fallen asleep.
