Before long, the world will not see me anymore, but you will see me. Because I live, you also will live.

Then Jesus said,“ I am only with you for a short time. Then I’m going to the one who sent me.

Therefore, he is able to save completely those who come to God through him, since he always lives to intercede for them.

The one who eats my flesh and drinks my blood remains in me, and I in him.Just as the living Father sent me and I live because of the Father, so the one who feeds on me will live because of me.This is the bread that came down from heaven; it is not like the manna your ancestors ate— and they died. The one who eats this bread will live forever.”

Who is the one who condemns? Christ Jesus is the one who died, but even more, has been raised; he also is at the right hand of God and intercedes for us.

Jesus said to her,“ I am the resurrection and the life. The one who believes in me, even if he dies, will live.

For if, while we were enemies, we were reconciled to God through the death of his Son, then how much more, having been reconciled, will we be saved by his life.

So you also have sorrow now. But I will see you again. Your hearts will rejoice, and no one will take away your joy from you.

So it is written, The first man Adam became a living being; the last Adam became a life-giving spirit.

We always carry the death of Jesus in our body, so that the life of Jesus may also be displayed in our body.For we who live are always being given over to death for Jesus’s sake, so that Jesus’s life may also be displayed in our mortal flesh.So then, death is at work in us, but life in you.

Jesus told him,“ I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.

For you died, and your life is hidden with Christ in God.When Christ, who is your life, appears, then you also will appear with him in glory.

Jesus answered,“ The light will be with you only a little longer. Walk while you have the light so that darkness doesn’t overtake you. The one who walks in darkness doesn’t know where he’s going.

Little children, I am with you a little while longer. You will look for me, and just as I told the Jews, so now I tell you,‘ Where I am going, you cannot come.’

What was from the beginning, what we have heard, what we have seen with our eyes, what we have observed and have touched with our hands, concerning the word of life—that life was revealed, and we have seen it and we testify and declare to you the eternal life that was with the Father and was revealed to us—what we have seen and heard we also declare to you, so that you may also have fellowship with us; and indeed our fellowship is with the Father and with his Son, Jesus Christ.

Then he said to them again,“ I’m going away; you will look for me, and you will die in your sin. Where I’m going, you cannot come.”

But as it is, Christ has been raised from the dead, the firstfruits of those who have fallen asleep.
