但我有比約翰更大的見證：父交給我去完成的工作，就是我正在做的，為我作證是父差遣了我。

耶穌回答他們：「我已經告訴你們，你們卻不信。我奉我父的名所行的事可以為我作見證。

我在父裏面，父在我裏面，你不信嗎？我對你們所說的話不是憑着自己說的，而是住在我裏面的父在做他的工作。

「以色列人哪，你們要聽我這些話：拿撒勒人耶穌就是神以異能、奇事、神蹟向你們證明出來的人，這些事是神藉着他在你們中間施行，正如你們自己知道的。

神又按自己的旨意，更用神蹟奇事、百般的異能，和聖靈所給的恩賜，與他們一同作見證。

耶穌回答他們：「你們去，把所聽見、所看見的告訴約翰：就是盲人看見，瘸子行走，痲瘋病人得潔淨，聾子聽見，死人復活，窮人聽到福音。

耶穌回應他們：「我做了許多從父那裏來的善事給你們看，你們是為哪一件拿石頭打我呢？」

這是要應驗以賽亞先知所說的話：「主啊，我們所傳的有誰信呢？主的膀臂向誰顯露呢？」他們所以不能信，因為以賽亞又說：「主使他們瞎了眼，使他們硬了心，免得他們眼睛看見，他們心裏明白，回轉過來，我會醫治他們。」

就在那時，耶穌治好了許多患疾病的，得瘟疫的，被邪靈附身的，又開恩使好些盲人能看見。耶穌回答他們：「你們去，把所看見、所聽見的告訴約翰：就是盲人看見，瘸子行走，痲瘋病人得潔淨，聾子聽見，死人復活，窮人聽到福音。凡不因我跌倒的有福了！」
