你们当相信我：我在父里面，父也在我里面。即使不信，也当因我所做的事而相信。

“我有比约翰更大的见证，因为父交给我工作要我去完成。我现在做的这些工作正为我见证：就是父差派了我。

耶稣回答：“我告诉过你们，你们却不相信。我奉我父的名所行的这些事为我做见证；

难道你不相信我就在父里面，父也在我里面吗？我对你们说的话，不是凭自己说的，而是住在我里面的父，在做他的工作。

“各位以色列人哪，请听这些话：拿撒勒人耶稣是神向你们所证实的人；神藉着他在你们中间行了大能、神迹和奇事，正如你们自己所知道的。

神又照着自己的旨意，用神迹、奇事和各种大能，以及圣灵的各种恩赐，与他们一同见证。

耶稣回答他们，说：“你们去把所听见、所看见的告诉约翰，就是：瞎眼的得以看见，瘸腿的行走，麻风病人被洁净，耳聋的听见，死人得以复活，穷人得以听到福音。

耶稣对他们说：“我把很多从父而来的美好之事显给你们看了，你们是为哪一件要用石头砸死我呢？”

这是为要应验先知以赛亚所说的话：“主啊，我们所传的，有谁相信了？主的膀臂，向谁显示了？”他们之所以不能相信，是因为以赛亚又说过：“神使他们瞎了眼，硬了心，免得他们眼睛看见，心里明白，回转过来，我就使他们痊愈。”

就在那时候，耶稣治愈了许多有疾病的、有苦痛的、被邪灵附着的人，又施恩给许多瞎眼的使他们能看见。于是耶稣回答那两个人，说：“你们去把所看见、所听见的告诉约翰，就是：瞎眼的得以看见，瘸腿的行走，麻风病人被洁净，耳聋的听见，死人得以复活，穷人得以听到福音。凡不因我被绊倒的人，就蒙福了。”
