你们应当信我是在父里面，父是在我里面；不然，也要因我所作的而相信。

你不信我是在父里面，父是在我里面吗？我对你们说的话，不是凭着自己说的，而是住在我里面的父作他自己的事。

“以色列人哪，请听听这几句话：正如你们所知道的，神已经藉着拿撒勒人耶稣在你们中间施行了大能、奇事、神迹，向你们证明他是神所立的。

神又照着自己的旨意，用神迹、奇事和各样异能，以及圣灵的恩赐，与他们一同作见证。

耶稣回答他们：“你们回去，把听见和看见的都告诉约翰，就是瞎的可以看见，瘸的可以走路，患痲风的得到洁净，聋的可以听见，死人复活，穷人有福音听。

耶稣对他们说：“我把许多从父那里来的善事显给你们看，你们因哪一件要用石头打我呢？”

这是要应验以赛亚先知所说的话：“主啊，我们所传的，有谁信呢？主的膀臂向谁显露呢？”他们不能相信，因为以赛亚又说：“神使他们瞎了眼，硬了心，免得他们眼睛看见，心里明白而回转过来；我就医好他们。”

就在那时候，耶稣治好许多患疾病的、遭灾难的、身上有污鬼附着的，并且施恩给瞎眼的，使他们看见。耶稣回答他们：“你们回去，把看见和听见的都告诉约翰，就是瞎的可以看见，跛的可以走路，患痲风的得到洁净，聋的可以听见，死人复活，穷人有福音听。那不被我绊倒的，就有福了。”
