這樣、就到了西門彼得那裏了；彼得對耶穌說：『主啊，你洗我的腳麼？』

爰至西門伯鐸祿前、而伯鐸祿止之曰：『主欲濯吾足耶？』

He came to Simon Peter, who said to him,“ Lord, are you going to wash my feet?”

So he cometh to Simon Peter. He saith unto him, Lord, dost thou wash my feet?

He came to Simon Peter, who asked Him,“ Lord, are You going to wash my feet?”

Then cometh he to Simon Peter: and Peter saith unto him, Lord, dost thou wash my feet?

Then he came to Simon Peter. He said to him,“ Lord, do you wash my feet?”

But when Simon Peter saw it, he fell down at Jesus’ knees, saying,“ Go away from me, Lord, for I am a sinful man!”

“ I baptize you with water, for repentance, but the one coming after me is more powerful than I am– I am not worthy to carry his sandals. He will baptize you with the Holy Spirit and fire.His winnowing fork is in his hand, and he will clean out his threshing floor and will gather his wheat into the storehouse, but the chaff he will burn up with inextinguishable fire.”Then Jesus came from Galilee to John to be baptized by him in the Jordan River.But John tried to prevent him, saying,“ I need to be baptized by you, and yet you come to me?”
