耶穌曰、爾願為我舍命乎、我誠告爾、鷄鳴之先、爾將三次言不識我矣、

耶稣说：“你愿意为我舍命吗？我实实在在地告诉你，鸡叫以先，你要三次不认我。”

耶穌回答說：『你的性命、你要替我放棄！我實實在在地告訴你，雞還未叫，你必定要三次否認我了。』

耶穌曰、爾為我捐生乎、我誠語汝、鷄尚未鳴、爾將三言不識我矣、

耶穌曰：『汝欲為予致命耶！予確實語汝、今宵鷄猶未鳴、行見汝三背予矣！』

Then Jesus answered,“ Will you really lay down your life for me? Very truly I tell you, before the rooster crows, you will disown me three times!

Then Jesus answered,“ Will you really give your life for me? What I’m about to tell you is true. Before the rooster crows, you will say three times that you don’t know me!

Jesus answered,“ Will you lay down your life for me? Truly, truly, I say to you, the rooster will not crow till you have denied me three times.

Jesus answered,“ Die for me? I tell you the truth, Peter— before the rooster crows tomorrow morning, you will deny three times that you even know me.

Jesus replied,“ Will you lay down your life for me? Truly I tell you, a rooster will not crow until you have denied me three times.

Jesus answered him,“ Will you lay down your life for My sake? Most assuredly, I say to you, the rooster shall not crow till you have denied Me three times.

Jesus answereth, Wilt thou lay down thy life for me? Verily, verily, I say unto thee, The cock shall not crow, till thou hast denied me thrice.

Jesus replied,“ Will you lay down your life for Me? I assure you: A rooster will not crow until you have denied Me three times.

Jesus answered him, Wilt thou lay down thy life for my sake? Verily, verily, I say unto thee, The cock shall not crow, till thou hast denied me thrice.

Jesus answered,“ Will you lay down your life for me? I tell you the solemn truth, the rooster will not crow until you have denied me three times!

心驕必敗、氣傲必躓、

彼得在下院、大祭司之一婢至、見彼得向火、注目視之曰、爾亦素偕拿撒勒耶穌者、彼得諱之曰、我不知、且不識爾言何也、遂出、至院之前廊、而鷄鳴矣、婢復見之、語旁立者曰、此人亦係其黨、彼得又諱之、少頃、旁立者語彼得曰、爾誠其黨、蓋爾乃迦利利人、爾之方言亦相似、彼得詛且誓曰、爾所言之人、我不識也、鷄復鳴、彼得忽憶耶穌之言云、鷄鳴二次之先、爾將三次言不識我、思之則哭矣、

時彼得坐於外院、有一婢就之曰、爾亦素偕迦利利人耶穌者、彼得當眾前諱之曰、我不知爾言何也、遂出、至院門前、又一婢見之、告同在之人曰、此人亦素偕拿撒勒耶穌者、彼得復諱之曰、我不識其人、未幾、旁立者就彼得謂之曰、爾亦誠為其黨、聽爾之方言可知矣、彼得遂詛且誓曰、我不識其人、即時鷄鳴、彼得憶耶穌之言云、鷄鳴之先、爾將三次言不識我、乃出而痛哭、

彼得立於門外、大祭司所識之門徒出、告守門之女、遂引彼得入、守門之女謂彼得曰、爾亦斯人之門徒乎、曰、非也、

耶穌曰、我誠告爾、今夜鷄鳴之先、爾將三次言不識我、

有一婢、見彼得坐而向火、注目視之曰、此人亦曾偕耶穌者、彼得諱之曰、女乎、我不識之、有頃、又一人見彼得曰、爾亦其黨、彼得曰、人乎、非也、越片時、復一人力言曰、此人實偕耶穌、蓋亦迦利利人也、彼得曰、人乎、我不識爾所言也、言時、鷄即鳴、主回顧彼得、彼得憶主所言云、鷄鳴之先、爾將三次言不識我、遂出而痛哭、○

時西門彼得立而向火、眾謂之曰、爾亦其徒之一乎、彼得諱之曰、非也、有大祭司之一僕、為彼得削右耳者之親屬、曰、我非在園中見爾偕彼乎、彼得又諱之、鷄即鳴矣、○
