Jesus answereth, Wilt thou lay down thy life for me? Verily, verily, I say unto thee, The cock shall not crow, till thou hast denied me thrice.

耶穌說：「你願意為我捨命嗎？我實實在在地告訴你，雞叫以先，你要三次不認我。」

耶穌回答：「你願意為我捨命嗎？我實實在在地告訴你，雞叫以前，你要三次不認我。」

耶穌說：「你真的願意為我死嗎？我實實在在地告訴你，雞叫以前，你會三次不認我。」

耶穌回答說：『你的性命、你要替我放棄！我實實在在地告訴你，雞還未叫，你必定要三次否認我了。』

耶穌曰、爾為我捐生乎、我誠語汝、鷄尚未鳴、爾將三言不識我矣、

耶穌曰、爾願為我捐命乎、我誠告爾、鷄鳴之先、爾將三言不識我矣、

耶穌曰、爾願為我舍命乎、我誠告爾、鷄鳴之先、爾將三次言不識我矣、

耶穌曰：『汝欲為予致命耶！予確實語汝、今宵鷄猶未鳴、行見汝三背予矣！』

Then Jesus answered,“ Will you really lay down your life for me? Very truly I tell you, before the rooster crows, you will disown me three times!

Then Jesus answered,“ Will you really give your life for me? What I’m about to tell you is true. Before the rooster crows, you will say three times that you don’t know me!

Jesus answered,“ Will you lay down your life for me? Truly, truly, I say to you, the rooster will not crow till you have denied me three times.

Jesus answered,“ Die for me? I tell you the truth, Peter— before the rooster crows tomorrow morning, you will deny three times that you even know me.

Jesus replied,“ Will you lay down your life for me? Truly I tell you, a rooster will not crow until you have denied me three times.

Jesus* replied,“ Will you lay down your life for Me? Truly, truly I say to you, a rooster will not crow until you deny Me three times.

Jesus answered him,“ Will you lay down your life for My sake? Most assuredly, I say to you, the rooster shall not crow till you have denied Me three times.

Jesus replied,“ Will you lay down your life for Me? I assure you: A rooster will not crow until you have denied Me three times.

And as Peter was beneath in the court, there cometh one of the maids of the high priest;and seeing Peter warming himself, she looked upon him, and saith, Thou also wast with the Nazarene, even Jesus.But he denied, saying, I neither know, nor understand what thou sayest: and he went out into the porch; and the cock crew.And the maid saw him, and began again to say to them that stood by, This is one of them.But he again denied it. And after a little while again they that stood by said to Peter, Of a truth thou art one of them; for thou art a Galilæan.But he began to curse, and to swear, I know not this man of whom ye speak.And straightway the second time the cock crew. And Peter called to mind the word, how that Jesus said unto him, Before the cock crow twice, thou shalt deny me thrice. And when he thought thereon, he wept.

Now Peter was sitting without in the court: and a maid came unto him, saying, Thou also wast with Jesus the Galilæan.But he denied before them all, saying, I know not what thou sayest.And when he was gone out into the porch, another maid saw him, and saith unto them that were there, This man also was with Jesus of Nazareth.And again he denied with an oath, I know not the man.And after a little while they that stood by came and said to Peter, Of a truth thou also art one of them; for thy speech maketh thee known.Then began he to curse and to swear, I know not the man. And straightway the cock crew.And Peter remembered the word which Jesus had said, Before the cock crow, thou shalt deny me thrice. And he went out, and wept bitterly.

And he said, I tell thee, Peter, the cock shall not crow this day, until thou shalt thrice deny that thou knowest me.

but Peter was standing at the door without. So the other disciple, who was known unto the high priest, went out and spake unto her that kept the door, and brought in Peter.The maid therefore that kept the door saith unto Peter, Art thou also one of this man’s disciples? He saith, I am not.

Jesus said unto him, Verily I say unto thee, that this night, before the cock crow, thou shalt deny me thrice.

And a certain maid seeing him as he sat in the light of the fire, and looking stedfastly upon him, said, This man also was with him.But he denied, saying, Woman, I know him not.And after a little while another saw him, and said, Thou also art one of them. But Peter said, Man, I am not.And after the space of about one hour another confidently affirmed, saying, Of a truth this man also was with him; for he is a Galilæan.But Peter said, Man, I know not what thou sayest. And immediately, while he yet spake, the cock crew.And the Lord turned, and looked upon Peter. And Peter remembered the word of the Lord, how that he said unto him, Before the cock crow this day thou shalt deny me thrice.And he went out, and wept bitterly.

And Jesus saith unto him, Verily I say unto thee, that thou to- day, even this night, before the cock crow twice, shalt deny me thrice.

Now Simon Peter was standing and warming himself. They said therefore unto him, Art thou also one of his disciples? He denied, and said, I am not.One of the servants of the high priest, being a kinsman of him whose ear Peter cut off, saith, Did not I see thee in the garden with him?Peter therefore denied again: and straightway the cock crew.
