Simon Peter said to him,“ Lord, where are you going?” Jesus replied,“ Where I am going, you cannot follow me now, but you will follow later.”

Simon Peter asked him,“ Lord, where are you going?” Jesus replied,“ Where I am going, you cannot follow now, but you will follow later.”

Simon Peter saith unto him, Lord, whither goest thou? Jesus answered, Whither I go, thou canst not follow me now; but thou shalt follow afterwards.

“ Lord,” Simon Peter said to Him,“ where are You going?” Jesus answered,“ Where I am going you cannot follow Me now, but you will follow later.”

since I know that my tabernacle will soon be removed, because our Lord Jesus Christ revealed this to me.

I tell you the solemn truth, when you were young, you tied your clothes around you and went wherever you wanted, but when you are old, you will stretch out your hands, and others will tie you up and bring you where you do not want to go.”( Now Jesus said this to indicate clearly by what kind of death Peter was going to glorify God.) After he said this, Jesus told Peter,“ Follow me.”

Children, I am still with you for a little while. You will look for me, and just as I said to the Jewish religious leaders,‘ Where I am going you cannot come,’ now I tell you the same.

There are many dwelling places in my Father’s house. Otherwise, I would have told you, because I am going away to make ready a place for you.

And you know the way where I am going.”Thomas said,“ Lord, we don’t know where you are going. How can we know the way?”

Then some of his disciples said to one another,“ What is the meaning of what he is saying,‘ In a little while you will not see me; again after a little while, you will see me,’ and,‘ because I am going to the Father’?”

So when Peter saw him, he asked Jesus,“ Lord, what about him?”Jesus replied,“ If I want him to live until I come back, what concern is that of yours? You follow me!”
