Simon Peter said unto him, Lord, whither goest thou? Jesus answered him, Whither I go, thou canst not follow me now; but thou shalt follow me afterwards.

西门彼得问：“主啊，你要到哪里去呢？”耶稣回答：“我去的地方，你现在不能跟着去，但以后会跟着去。”

西門伯鐸祿問曰：『主將奚往？』耶穌對曰：『予之所往、爾今難從、異日當得追隨耳。』

Simon Peter asked him,“ Lord, where are you going?” Jesus replied,“ Where I am going, you cannot follow now, but you will follow later.”

Verily, verily, I say unto thee, When thou wast young, thou girdedst thyself, and walkedst whither thou wouldest: but when thou shalt be old, thou shalt stretch forth thy hands, and another shall gird thee, and carry[ thee] whither thou wouldest not.This spake he, signifying by what death he should glorify God. And when he had spoken this, he saith unto him, Follow me.

Little children, yet a little while I am with you. Ye shall seek me: and as I said unto the Jews, Whither I go, ye cannot come; so now I say to you.

In my Father’s house are many mansions: if[ it were] not[ so], I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you.

And whither I go ye know, and the way ye know.Thomas saith unto him, Lord, we know not whither thou goest; and how can we know the way?

Then said[ some] of his disciples among themselves, What is this that he saith unto us, A little while, and ye shall not see me: and again, a little while, and ye shall see me: and, Because I go to the Father?

Peter seeing him saith to Jesus, Lord, and what[ shall] this man[ do]?Jesus saith unto him, If I will that he tarry till I come, what[ is that] to thee? follow thou me.
