西門彼得問：「主啊，你要到哪裡去呢？」耶穌回答：「我去的地方，你現在不能跟著去，但以後會跟著去。」

西门彼得问耶稣说：“主往哪里去？”耶稣回答说：“我所去的地方，你现在不能跟我去，后来却要跟我去。”

西门‧彼得问耶稣：“主啊，你去哪里？”耶稣回答：“我所去的地方，你现在不能跟我去，以后却要跟我去。”

Simon Peter asked him,“ Lord, where are you going?” Jesus replied,“ Where I am going, you cannot follow now, but you will follow later.”

“ Lord,” Simon Peter said to him,“ where are you going?” Jesus answered,“ Where I am going you cannot follow me now, but you will follow later.”

因為我知道我脫離這帳篷的時候快到了，就像我們的主耶穌基督也曾向我指明的。

我確確實實地告訴你：你年輕的時候，自己束上腰帶，到你願意去的地方；但你年老的時候，要伸出雙手，別人要把你束上，帶你到不願意去的地方。」耶穌說這話，是指彼得將會以怎樣的死來榮耀神。說了這話，耶穌對他說：「你跟從我！」

「孩子們哪，我與你們在一起的時候不多了。你們將尋找我，而且就像我曾經告訴過那些猶太人一樣，現在我也告訴你們：我去的地方，你們不能去。

在我父家裡有很多住處。如果沒有，我怎麼會告訴你們說，我去是要為你們預備地方呢？

我往哪裡去，你們知道；那條路，你們也知道。」多馬說：「主啊，我們不知道你要到哪裡去，怎麼能知道那條路呢？」

於是他的門徒當中有的彼此問：「他對我們說『過一會兒，你們就看不到我了；再過一會兒，你們又將見到我』，還說『是因為我要到父那裡去』，這是什麼意思呢？」

彼得看見他，就問耶穌：「主啊，那麼，這個人會怎麼樣呢？」耶穌說：「就算我願意他一直留到我來的時候，這與你有什麼關係？你跟從我！」
