In this the children of God are revealed, and the children of the devil. Whoever doesn’t do righteousness is not of God, neither is he who doesn’t love his brother.For this is the message which you heard from the beginning, that we should love one another;unlike Cain, who was of the evil one, and killed his brother. Why did he kill him? Because his deeds were evil, and his brother’s righteous.Don’t be surprised, my brothers, if the world hates you.We know that we have passed out of death into life, because we love the brothers. He who doesn’t love his brother remains in death.
The multitude of those who believed were of one heart and soul. Not one of them claimed that anything of the things which he possessed was his own, but they had all things in common.With great power, the apostles gave their testimony of the resurrection of the Lord Jesus. There was strife between the herdsmen of Abram’s livestock and the herdsmen of Lot’s livestock. The Canaanites and the Perizzites lived in the land at that time.Abram said to Lot,“ Please, let there be no strife between you and me, and between your herdsmen and my herdsmen; for we are relatives.
By the hands of the apostles many signs and wonders were done among the people. They were all with one accord in Solomon’s porch.None of the rest dared to join them, however the people honored them.More believers were added to the Lord, multitudes of both men and women.
