Live a life filled with love, following the example of Christ. He loved us and offered himself as a sacrifice for us, a pleasing aroma to God.

You were cleansed from your sins when you obeyed the truth, so now you must show sincere love to each other as brothers and sisters. Love each other deeply with all your heart.

This is my command: Love each other.

If one part suffers, all the parts suffer with it, and if one part is honored, all the parts are glad.All of you together are Christ’s body, and each of you is a part of it.

Share each other’s burdens, and in this way obey the law of Christ.

And this is his commandment: We must believe in the name of his Son, Jesus Christ, and love one another, just as he commanded us.

Dear friends, let us continue to love one another, for love comes from God. Anyone who loves is a child of God and knows God.But anyone who does not love does not know God, for God is love.God showed how much he loved us by sending his one and only Son into the world so that we might have eternal life through him.This is real love— not that we loved God, but that he loved us and sent his Son as a sacrifice to take away our sins.Dear friends, since God loved us that much, we surely ought to love each other.

Dear friends, I am not writing a new commandment for you; rather it is an old one you have had from the very beginning. This old commandment— to love one another— is the same message you heard before.Yet it is also new. Jesus lived the truth of this commandment, and you also are living it. For the darkness is disappearing, and the true light is already shining.If anyone claims,“ I am living in the light,” but hates a fellow believer, that person is still living in darkness.Anyone who loves a fellow believer is living in the light and does not cause others to stumble.

And he has given us this command: Those who love God must also love their fellow believers.Everyone who believes that Jesus is the Christ has become a child of God. And everyone who loves the Father loves his children, too.

Yes indeed, it is good when you obey the royal law as found in the Scriptures:“ Love your neighbor as yourself.”

And may the Lord make your love for one another and for all people grow and overflow, just as our love for you overflows.

This is the message you have heard from the beginning: We should love one another.

Since God chose you to be the holy people he loves, you must clothe yourselves with tenderhearted mercy, kindness, humility, gentleness, and patience.Make allowance for each other’s faults, and forgive anyone who offends you. Remember, the Lord forgave you, so you must forgive others.

I am writing to remind you, dear friends, that we should love one another. This is not a new commandment, but one we have had from the beginning.

Love each other with genuine affection, and take delight in honoring each other.

For you have been called to live in freedom, my brothers and sisters. But don’t use your freedom to satisfy your sinful nature. Instead, use your freedom to serve one another in love.For the whole law can be summed up in this one command:“ Love your neighbor as yourself.”

This is my commandment: Love each other in the same way I have loved you.There is no greater love than to lay down one’s life for one’s friends.

Therefore, whenever we have the opportunity, we should do good to everyone— especially to those in the family of faith.

Love is patient and kind. Love is not jealous or boastful or proudor rude. It does not demand its own way. It is not irritable, and it keeps no record of being wronged.It does not rejoice about injustice but rejoices whenever the truth wins out.Love never gives up, never loses faith, is always hopeful, and endures through every circumstance.

Dear brothers and sisters, we can’t help but thank God for you, because your faith is flourishing and your love for one another is growing.

Is there any encouragement from belonging to Christ? Any comfort from his love? Any fellowship together in the Spirit? Are your hearts tender and compassionate?Then make me truly happy by agreeing wholeheartedly with each other, loving one another, and working together with one mind and purpose.Don’t be selfish; don’t try to impress others. Be humble, thinking of others as better than yourselves.Don’t look out only for your own interests, but take an interest in others, too.You must have the same attitude that Christ Jesus had.

Finally, all of you should be of one mind. Sympathize with each other. Love each other as brothers and sisters. Be tenderhearted, and keep a humble attitude.Don’t repay evil for evil. Don’t retaliate with insults when people insult you. Instead, pay them back with a blessing. That is what God has called you to do, and he will grant you his blessing.

For we have heard of your faith in Christ Jesus and your love for all of God’s people,

But we don’t need to write to you about the importance of loving each other, for God himself has taught you to love one another.Indeed, you already show your love for all the believers throughout Macedonia. Even so, dear brothers and sisters, we urge you to love them even more.

For when we place our faith in Christ Jesus, there is no benefit in being circumcised or being uncircumcised. What is important is faith expressing itself in love.

and godliness with brotherly affection, and brotherly affection with love for everyone.

Treat them like native born Israelites, and love them as you love yourself. Remember that you were once foreigners living in the land of Egypt. I am the Lord your God.

Keep on loving each other as brothers and sisters.

I pray that they will all be one, just as you and I are one— as you are in me, Father, and I am in you. And may they be in us so that the world will believe you sent me.

I am a friend to anyone who fears you— anyone who obeys your commandments.

The godly people in the land are my true heroes! I take pleasure in them!
