Lead a life of love, just as Christ did. He loved us. He gave himself up for us. He was a sweet- smelling offering and sacrifice to God.

You have made yourselves pure by obeying the truth. So you have an honest and true love for each other. So love one another deeply, from your hearts.

Here is my command. Love one another.

If one part suffers, every part suffers with it. If one part is honored, every part shares in its joy.You are the body of Christ. Each one of you is a part of it.

Carry one another’s heavy loads. If you do, you will fulfill the law of Christ.

God has commanded us to believe in the name of his Son, Jesus Christ. He has also commanded us to love one another.

Dear friends, let us love one another, because love comes from God. Everyone who loves has become a child of God and knows God.Anyone who does not love does not know God, because God is love.Here is how God showed his love among us. He sent his one and only Son into the world. He sent him so we could receive life through him.Here is what love is. It is not that we loved God. It is that he loved us and sent his Son to give his life to pay for our sins.Dear friends, since God loved us this much, we should also love one another.

Dear friends, I’m not writing you a new command. Instead, I’m writing one you have heard before. You have had it since the beginning.But I am writing what amounts to a new command. Its truth was shown in how Jesus lived. It is also shown in how you live. That’s because the darkness is passing away. And the true light is already shining.Suppose someone claims to be in the light but hates a brother or sister. Then they are still in the darkness.Anyone who loves their brother and sister lives in the light. There is nothing in them to make them fall into sin.

Here is the command God has given us. Anyone who loves God must also love their brother and sister.Everyone who believes that Jesus is the Christ is a child of God. And everyone who loves the Father loves his children as well.

The royal law is found in Scripture. It says,“ Love your neighbor as you love yourself.”( Leviticus 19:18) If you really keep this law, you are doing what is right.

May the Lord make your love grow. May it be like a rising flood. May your love for one another increase. May it also increase for everyone else. May it be just like our love for you.

From the beginning we have heard that we should love one another.

You are God’s chosen people. You are holy and dearly loved. So put on tender mercy and kindness as if they were your clothes. Don’t be proud. Be gentle and patient.Put up with one another. Forgive one another if you are holding something against someone. Forgive, just as the Lord forgave you.

Dear lady, I’m not writing you a new command. I’m writing a command we’ve had from the beginning. I’m asking that we love one another.

Love one another deeply. Honor others more than yourselves.

My brothers and sisters, you were chosen to be free. But don’t use your freedom as an excuse to live under the power of sin. Instead, serve one another in love.The whole law is fulfilled by obeying this one command.“ Love your neighbor as you love yourself.”( Leviticus 19:18)

Here is my command. Love one another, just as I have loved you.No one has greater love than the one who gives their life for their friends.

So when we can do good to everyone, let us do it. Let’s try even harder to do good to the family of believers.

Love is patient. Love is kind. It does not want what belongs to others. It does not brag. It is not proud.It does not dishonor other people. It does not look out for its own interests. It does not easily become angry. It does not keep track of other people’s wrongs.Love is not happy with evil. But it is full of joy when the truth is spoken.It always protects. It always trusts. It always hopes. It never gives up.

But the fruit the Holy Spirit produces is love, joy and peace. It is being patient, kind and good. It is being faithful

Brothers and sisters, we should always thank God for you. That is only right, because your faith is growing more and more. We also thank God that the love you all have for one another is increasing.

So does belonging to Christ help you in any way? Does his love comfort you at all? Do you share anything in common because of the Holy Spirit? Has Christ ever been gentle and loving toward you?If any of these things has happened to you, then agree with one another. Have the same love. Be one in spirit and in the way you think and act. By doing this, you will make my joy complete.Don’t do anything only to get ahead. Don’t do it because you are proud. Instead, be humble. Value others more than yourselves.None of you should look out just for your own good. Each of you should also look out for the good of others.As you deal with one another, you should think and act as Jesus did.

Finally, I want all of you to agree with one another. Be understanding. Love one another. Be kind and tender. Be humble.Don’t pay back evil with evil. Don’t pay back unkind words with unkind words. Instead, pay back evil with kind words. This is what you have been chosen to do. You will receive a blessing by doing this.

We thank him because we have heard about your faith in Christ Jesus. We have also heard that you love all God’s people.

We don’t need to write to you about your love for one another. God himself has taught you to love one another.In fact, you do love all God’s family all around Macedonia. Brothers and sisters, we are asking you to love one another more and more.

Circumcision and uncircumcision aren’t worth anything to those who believe in Christ Jesus. The only thing that really counts is faith that shows itself through love.

To godliness, add kindness for one another. And to kindness for one another, add love.

Treat them as if they were one of your own people. Love them as you love yourself. Remember that all of you were outsiders in Egypt. I am the Lord your God.

Keep on loving one another as brothers and sisters.

Father, I pray they will be one, just as you are in me and I am in you. I want them also to be in us. Then the world will believe that you have sent me.

I’m a friend to everyone who has respect for you. I’m a friend to everyone who follows your rules.

I say about God’s people who live in our land,“ They are the noble ones. I take great delight in them.”
