A new commandment I give unto you, That ye love one another; as I have loved you, that ye also love one another.

“ A new command I give you: Love one another. As I have loved you, so you must love one another.

Thou shalt not avenge, nor bear any grudge against the children of thy people, but thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself: I[ am] the LORD.

And walk in love, as Christ also hath loved us, and hath given himself for us an offering and a sacrifice to God for a sweetsmelling savour.

Seeing ye have purified your souls in obeying the truth through the Spirit unto unfeigned love of the brethren,[ see that ye] love one another with a pure heart fervently:

These things I command you, that ye love one another.

And whether one member suffer, all the members suffer with it; or one member be honoured, all the members rejoice with it.Now ye are the body of Christ, and members in particular.

Bear ye one another’s burdens, and so fulfil the law of Christ.

And this is his commandment, That we should believe on the name of his Son Jesus Christ, and love one another, as he gave us commandment.

Beloved, let us love one another: for love is of God; and every one that loveth is born of God, and knoweth God.He that loveth not knoweth not God; for God is love.In this was manifested the love of God toward us, because that God sent his only begotten Son into the world, that we might live through him.Herein is love, not that we loved God, but that he loved us, and sent his Son[ to be] the propitiation for our sins.Beloved, if God so loved us, we ought also to love one another.

Brethren, I write no new commandment unto you, but an old commandment which ye had from the beginning. The old commandment is the word which ye have heard from the beginning.Again, a new commandment I write unto you, which thing is true in him and in you: because the darkness is past, and the true light now shineth.He that saith he is in the light, and hateth his brother, is in darkness even until now.He that loveth his brother abideth in the light, and there is none occasion of stumbling in him.

And this commandment have we from him, That he who loveth God love his brother also.Whosoever believeth that Jesus is the Christ is born of God: and every one that loveth him that begat loveth him also that is begotten of him.

If ye fulfil the royal law according to the scripture, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself, ye do well:

And the Lord make you to increase and abound in love one toward another, and toward all[ men], even as we[ do] toward you:

For this is the message that ye heard from the beginning, that we should love one another.

Put on therefore, as the elect of God, holy and beloved, bowels of mercies, kindness, humbleness of mind, meekness, longsuffering;Forbearing one another, and forgiving one another, if any man have a quarrel against any: even as Christ forgave you, so also[ do] ye.

And now I beseech thee, lady, not as though I wrote a new commandment unto thee, but that which we had from the beginning, that we love one another.

[ Be] kindly affectioned one to another with brotherly love; in honour preferring one another;

For, brethren, ye have been called unto liberty; only[ use] not liberty for an occasion to the flesh, but by love serve one another.For all the law is fulfilled in one word,[ even] in this; Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.

This is my commandment, That ye love one another, as I have loved you.Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends.

As we have therefore opportunity, let us do good unto all[ men], especially unto them who are of the household of faith.

Charity suffereth long,[ and] is kind; charity envieth not; charity vaunteth not itself, is not puffed up,Doth not behave itself unseemly, seeketh not her own, is not easily provoked, thinketh no evil;Rejoiceth not in iniquity, but rejoiceth in the truth;Beareth all things, believeth all things, hopeth all things, endureth all things.

But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith,

We are bound to thank God always for you, brethren, as it is meet, because that your faith groweth exceedingly, and the charity of every one of you all toward each other aboundeth;

If[ there be] therefore any consolation in Christ, if any comfort of love, if any fellowship of the Spirit, if any bowels and mercies,Fulfil ye my joy, that ye be likeminded, having the same love,[ being] of one accord, of one mind.[ Let] nothing[ be done] through strife or vainglory; but in lowliness of mind let each esteem other better than themselves.Look not every man on his own things, but every man also on the things of others.Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus:

Finally,[ be ye] all of one mind, having compassion one of another, love as brethren,[ be] pitiful,[ be] courteous:Not rendering evil for evil, or railing for railing: but contrariwise blessing; knowing that ye are thereunto called, that ye should inherit a blessing.

Since we heard of your faith in Christ Jesus, and of the love[ which ye have] to all the saints,

But as touching brotherly love ye need not that I write unto you: for ye yourselves are taught of God to love one another.And indeed ye do it toward all the brethren which are in all Macedonia: but we beseech you, brethren, that ye increase more and more;

For in Jesus Christ neither circumcision availeth any thing, nor uncircumcision; but faith which worketh by love.

And to godliness brotherly kindness; and to brotherly kindness charity.

[ But] the stranger that dwelleth with you shall be unto you as one born among you, and thou shalt love him as thyself; for ye were strangers in the land of Egypt: I[ am] the LORD your God.

Let brotherly love continue.

That they all may be one; as thou, Father,[ art] in me, and I in thee, that they also may be one in us: that the world may believe that thou hast sent me.

I[ am] a companion of all[ them] that fear thee, and of them that keep thy precepts.

[ But] to the saints that[ are] in the earth, and[ to] the excellent, in whom[ is] all my delight.
