A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another: just as I have loved you, you also are to love one another.

予茲授爾以新誡、即彼此相愛是已、務以予之所以愛爾者、彼此相愛也。

You shall not take vengeance or bear a grudge against the sons of your own people, but you shall love your neighbor as yourself: I am the Lord.

And walk in love, as Christ loved us and gave himself up for us, a fragrant offering and sacrifice to God.

Having purified your souls by your obedience to the truth for a sincere brotherly love, love one another earnestly from a pure heart,

These things I command you, so that you will love one another.

If one member suffers, all suffer together; if one member is honored, all rejoice together.Now you are the body of Christ and individually members of it.

Bear one another’s burdens, and so fulfill the law of Christ.

And this is his commandment, that we believe in the name of his Son Jesus Christ and love one another, just as he has commanded us.

Beloved, let us love one another, for love is from God, and whoever loves has been born of God and knows God.Anyone who does not love does not know God, because God is love.In this the love of God was made manifest among us, that God sent his only Son into the world, so that we might live through him.In this is love, not that we have loved God but that he loved us and sent his Son to be the propitiation for our sins.Beloved, if God so loved us, we also ought to love one another.

Beloved, I am writing you no new commandment, but an old commandment that you had from the beginning. The old commandment is the word that you have heard.At the same time, it is a new commandment that I am writing to you, which is true in him and in you, because the darkness is passing away and the true light is already shining.Whoever says he is in the light and hates his brother is still in darkness.Whoever loves his brother abides in the light, and in him there is no cause for stumbling.

And this commandment we have from him: whoever loves God must also love his brother.Everyone who believes that Jesus is the Christ has been born of God, and everyone who loves the Father loves whoever has been born of him.

If you really fulfill the royal law according to the Scripture,“ You shall love your neighbor as yourself,” you are doing well.

and may the Lord make you increase and abound in love for one another and for all, as we do for you,

For this is the message that you have heard from the beginning, that we should love one another.

Put on then, as God’s chosen ones, holy and beloved, compassionate hearts, kindness, humility, meekness, and patience,bearing with one another and, if one has a complaint against another, forgiving each other; as the Lord has forgiven you, so you also must forgive.

And now I ask you, dear lady— not as though I were writing you a new commandment, but the one we have had from the beginning— that we love one another.

Love one another with brotherly affection. Outdo one another in showing honor.

For you were called to freedom, brothers. Only do not use your freedom as an opportunity for the flesh, but through love serve one another.For the whole law is fulfilled in one word:“ You shall love your neighbor as yourself.”

“ This is my commandment, that you love one another as I have loved you.Greater love has no one than this, that someone lay down his life for his friends.

So then, as we have opportunity, let us do good to everyone, and especially to those who are of the household of faith.

Love is patient and kind; love does not envy or boast; it is not arrogantor rude. It does not insist on its own way; it is not irritable or resentful;it does not rejoice at wrongdoing, but rejoices with the truth.Love bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things.

But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness,

We ought always to give thanks to God for you, brothers, as is right, because your faith is growing abundantly, and the love of every one of you for one another is increasing.

So if there is any encouragement in Christ, any comfort from love, any participation in the Spirit, any affection and sympathy,complete my joy by being of the same mind, having the same love, being in full accord and of one mind.Do nothing from selfish ambition or conceit, but in humility count others more significant than yourselves.Let each of you look not only to his own interests, but also to the interests of others.Have this mind among yourselves, which is yours in Christ Jesus,

Finally, all of you, have unity of mind, sympathy, brotherly love, a tender heart, and a humble mind.Do not repay evil for evil or reviling for reviling, but on the contrary, bless, for to this you were called, that you may obtain a blessing.

since we heard of your faith in Christ Jesus and of the love that you have for all the saints,

Now concerning brotherly love you have no need for anyone to write to you, for you yourselves have been taught by God to love one another,for that indeed is what you are doing to all the brothers throughout Macedonia. But we urge you, brothers, to do this more and more,

For in Christ Jesus neither circumcision nor uncircumcision counts for anything, but only faith working through love.

and godliness with brotherly affection, and brotherly affection with love.

You shall treat the stranger who sojourns with you as the native among you, and you shall love him as yourself, for you were strangers in the land of Egypt: I am the Lord your God.

Let brotherly love continue.

that they may all be one, just as you, Father, are in me, and I in you, that they also may be in us, so that the world may believe that you have sent me.

I am a companion of all who fear you, of those who keep your precepts.

As for the saints in the land, they are the excellent ones, in whom is all my delight.
