Jesus knew that the Father had put all things under his power, and that he had come from God and was returning to God;

All things have been delivered to me by my Father. No one knows the Son, except the Father; neither does anyone know the Father, except the Son, and he to whom the Son desires to reveal him.

Jesus came to them and spoke to them, saying,“ All authority has been given to me in heaven and on earth.

even as you gave him authority over all flesh, so he will give eternal life to all whom you have given him.

far above all rule, authority, power, dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this age, but also in that which is to come.He put all things in subjection under his feet, and gave him to be head over all things for the assembly,

has at the end of these days spoken to us by his Son, whom he appointed heir of all things, through whom also he made the worlds.

For,“ He put all things in subjection under his feet.” But when he says,“ All things are put in subjection”, it is evident that he is excepted who subjected all things to him.

for the Father himself loves you, because you have loved me, and have believed that I came from God.I came from the Father, and have come into the world. Again, I leave the world, and go to the Father.”

Therefore God also highly exalted him, and gave to him the name which is above every name,that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of those in heaven, those on earth, and those under the earth,and that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.

Now, Father, glorify me with your own self with the glory which I had with you before the world existed.I revealed your name to the people whom you have given me out of the world. They were yours, and you have given them to me. They have kept your word.Now they have known that all things whatever you have given me are from you,for the words which you have given me I have given to them, and they received them, and knew for sure that I came from you. They have believed that you sent me.

For the Father judges no one, but he has given all judgment to the Son,that all may honor the Son, even as they honor the Father. He who doesn’t honor the Son doesn’t honor the Father who sent him.“ Most certainly I tell you, he who hears my word and believes him who sent me has eternal life, and doesn’t come into judgment, but has passed out of death into life.Most certainly I tell you, the hour comes, and now is, when the dead will hear the Son of God’s voice; and those who hear will live.For as the Father has life in himself, even so he gave to the Son also to have life in himself.He also gave him authority to execute judgment, because he is a son of man.

No one has ascended into heaven but he who descended out of heaven, the Son of Man, who is in heaven.

I know him, because I am from him, and he sent me.”

Then Jesus said,“ I will be with you a little while longer, then I go to him who sent me.

You have put all things in subjection under his feet.” For in that he subjected all things to him, he left nothing that is not subject to him. But now we don’t see all things subjected to him, yet.But we see him who has been made a little lower than the angels, Jesus, because of the suffering of death crowned with glory and honor, that by the grace of God he should taste of death for everyone.

I am no more in the world, but these are in the world, and I am coming to you. Holy Father, keep them through your name which you have given me, that they may be one, even as we are.While I was with them in the world, I kept them in your name. I have kept those whom you have given me. None of them is lost except the son of destruction, that the Scripture might be fulfilled.But now I come to you, and I say these things in the world, that they may have my joy made full in themselves.

“ Let all the house of Israel therefore know certainly that God has made him both Lord and Christ, this Jesus whom you crucified.”

No one has seen God at any time. The one and only Son, who is in the bosom of the Father, has declared him.

Turning to the disciples, he said,“ All things have been delivered to me by my Father. No one knows who the Son is, except the Father, and who the Father is, except the Son, and he to whomever the Son desires to reveal him.”

Now before the feast of the Passover, Jesus, knowing that his time had come that he would depart from this world to the Father, having loved his own who were in the world, he loved them to the end.
