父愛子、以萬物付其手、

耶穌曰、若天主為爾父、則必愛我、因我由天主而出、由天主而來、我非自擅而來、乃天主遣我也、

蓋父自愛爾、以爾愛我、且信我出自天主、我由父出而臨世、復離世而歸父、

為此、天主升之無上、賜之以名、超乎諸名之上、使在天在地在地下者、聞耶穌名、無膝不屈、無口不稱耶穌基督為主、歸榮於父天主、○

父歟、今使我偕爾得榮、即創世之先、我偕爾所有之榮、爾由世所選而賜我者、我已以爾名示之、彼固屬爾、爾以之賜我、彼已守爾言、今彼知爾所賜我者、皆由爾也、爾所授我之言、我已授彼、彼受之、誠知我由爾出、且信爾遣我也、

父不審判人、乃以審判之事、悉委於子、使眾敬子、如敬父然、不敬子者、即不敬遣子之父、我誠告爾、聽我言而信遣我者得永生、不至定罪、乃已出死入生也、我誠告爾、時將至、今是矣、死者必聞天主子之聲、而聞之者必生、父在己有生、其賜子亦如是在己有生、且賜之權以審判、因其為人子也、

由天而降、依然在天之人子外、從無升天者、

惟我知之、因我由彼出、而彼遣我、

耶穌曰、我尚有片時偕爾、後歸遣我者、

既言使萬物皆服之、則不遺一物不服之者、但今我儕未見萬物皆服之、惟見耶穌稍卑於天使、因死之苦、冠以尊榮、致其由天主恩為眾人受死、受死原文作嘗死

今我不復在世、惟彼在世、而我歸爾、聖父歟、爾所賜我之人、願以爾名保之、使之為一、如父與我父與我原文作我儕然、我偕之在世時、我以爾名保之、爾所賜我之人、我皆守之、其中一無所失、惟彼沈淪之子失焉、為應經所載之言、今我歸爾、我尚在世言此、為使彼心內全得我樂、

是以舉以色列家當確知之、此耶穌、爾所釘於十字架者、天主已立之為主、為基督、○

從未有人見天主、惟獨生子在父懷者、彰明之、○

萬物由父賜我、父之外無人識子為誰、子及子所樂示者之外、無人識父為誰、

逾越節前、耶穌知己離世歸父之時已至、既愛屬己者在世、至終仍愛之、
