Jesus knew that the Father had put all things under his power, and that he had come from God and was returning to God;

For, He put all things in subjection under his feet. But when he saith, All things are put in subjection, it is evident that he is excepted who did subject all things unto him.

And now, Father, glorify thou me with thine own self with the glory which I had with thee before the world was.I manifested thy name unto the men whom thou gavest me out of the world: thine they were, and thou gavest them to me; and they have kept thy word.Now they know that all things whatsoever thou hast given me are from thee:for the words which thou gavest me I have given unto them; and they received them, and knew of a truth that I came forth from thee, and they believed that thou didst send me.

For neither doth the Father judge any man, but he hath given all judgment unto the Son;that all may honor the Son, even as they honor the Father. He that honoreth not the Son honoreth not the Father that sent him.Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that heareth my word, and believeth him that sent me, hath eternal life, and cometh not into judgment, but hath passed out of death into life.Verily, verily, I say unto you, The hour cometh, and now is, when the dead shall hear the voice of the Son of God; and they that hear shall live.For as the Father hath life in himself, even so gave he to the Son also to have life in himself:and he gave him authority to execute judgment, because he is a son of man.

And no one hath ascended into heaven, but he that descended out of heaven, even the Son of man, who is in heaven.

I know him; because I am from him, and he sent me.

Jesus therefore said, Yet a little while am I with you, and I go unto him that sent me.

Thou didst put all things in subjection under his feet. For in that he subjected all things unto him, he left nothing that is not subject to him. But now we see not yet all things subjected to him.But we behold him who hath been made a little lower than the angels, even Jesus, because of the suffering of death crowned with glory and honor, that by the grace of God he should taste of death for every man.

And I am no more in the world, and these are in the world, and I come to thee. Holy Father, keep them in thy name which thou hast given me, that they may be one, even as we are.While I was with them, I kept them in thy name which thou hast given me: and I guarded them, and not one of them perished, but the son of perdition; that the scripture might be fulfilled.But now I come to thee; and these things I speak in the world, that they may have my joy made full in themselves.

Let all the house of Israel therefore know assuredly, that God hath made him both Lord and Christ, this Jesus whom ye crucified.

No man hath seen God at any time; the only begotten Son, who is in the bosom of the Father, he hath declared him.

All things have been delivered unto me of my Father: and no one knoweth who the Son is, save the Father; and who the Father is, save the Son, and he to whomsoever the Son willeth to reveal him.

Now before the feast of the passover, Jesus knowing that his hour was come that he should depart out of this world unto the Father, having loved his own that were in the world, he loved them unto the end.
