Simon Peter motioned to him to find out who it was he was talking about.

Simon Peter motioned to this disciple and said,“ Ask him which one he means.”

Simon Peter motioned to that disciple. He said,“ Ask Jesus which one he means.”

so Simon Peter motioned to him to ask Jesus of whom he was speaking.

Simon Peter motioned to him to ask,“ Who’s he talking about?”

So Simon Peter* nodded to this disciple and* said to him,“ Tell us who it is of whom He is speaking.”

Simon Peter therefore motioned to him to ask who it was of whom He spoke.

After he had given permission, Paul stood on the steps and motioned with his hand to the people. When there was a great hush, he addressed them in Aramaic:

So they signaled to their partners in the other boat to come and help them; they came and filled both boats so full that they began to sink.

Motioning to them with his hand to be silent, he described to them how the Lord had brought him out of the prison.“ Tell these things to James and the brothers,” he said, and he left and went to another place.

When he did come out, he could not speak to them. Then they realized that he had seen a vision in the sanctuary. He was making signs to them and remained speechless.

Paul stood up and motioned with his hand and said,“ Fellow Israelites, and you who fear God, listen!
