我言此、非指爾曹諸人、我所選者我知之、此為應經所載云、與我同食者、舉踵踶我、

然爾曹中亦非人人能語此。予非不識予之所選、顧經中所言：「食吾之食、舉踵相敵、」亦當見應耳。

连我信任的密友，就是那吃过我饭的，也抬脚踢我。

我与他们在一起的时候，我奉你的名，就是奉你赐给我的名保守了他们，也护卫了他们。他们当中除了那灭亡之子以外，没有一个人失落。这是为要应验经上的话。

耶稣回答说：“那与我一同把手蘸在盘子里的，就是要出卖我的人。

耶稣对他们说：“是你们十二使徒中的一个。他正与我一同在盘子里蘸饼。

耶稣回答：“我蘸一块饼给谁，就是谁。”接着，他蘸了一块饼拿给加略人西门的儿子犹大。

耶稣说：“洗过澡的人，除了脚以外，没有需要洗的；他是完全干净的。你们是干净的，但不是每个人都干净。”原来，耶稣知道要出卖他的是谁，所以说“你们不是每个人都干净。”

耶稣对他们说：“我不是拣选了你们十二使徒吗？可是你们当中有一个是魔鬼。”

如果你们属于这世界，世界会把你们做为属自己的来爱；但是，因为你们不属于这世界，而是我从世界中拣选了你们，所以世界就恨你们。

不是你们拣选了我，而是我拣选了你们，并指派了你们，好使你们去，让你们结出果子，而且使你们的果子长存。这样，你们奉我的名无论向父求什么，他就会赐给你们。

我要用瘟疫击杀她的儿女，这样各教会就将知道我就是洞察情感和心思的那一位；我也要照着你们的行为回报你们每个人。

这样，一个人的敌人，就是自己家里的人。’

实际上，我们不是传扬自己，而是传扬主耶稣基督，并且为了耶稣的缘故，我们自己做了你们的奴仆；

耶稣第三次问他：“约翰的儿子西门，你喜爱我吗？”彼得感到忧伤，因为耶稣第三次是对他说：“你喜爱我吗？”彼得说：“主啊，你知道一切，你知道我喜爱你。”耶稣对他说：“喂养我的羊。

并且被造之物在神面前，没有一样不是显明的；万有在他眼前，都是赤裸敞开的；我们都要向他交代。
