“ I’m not speaking about all of you; I know those I have chosen. But the Scripture must be fulfilled: The one who eats my bread has raised his heel against me.

He replied,“ The one who dipped his hand with me in the bowl— he will betray me.

He said to them,“ It is one of the Twelve— the one who is dipping bread in the bowl with me.

Jesus replied,“ He’s the one I give the piece of bread to after I have dipped it.” When he had dipped the bread, he gave it to Judas, Simon Iscariot’s son.

“ One who has bathed,” Jesus told him,“ doesn’t need to wash anything except his feet, but he is completely clean. You are clean, but not all of you.”For he knew who would betray him. This is why he said,“ Not all of you are clean.”

Jesus replied to them,“ Didn’t I choose you, the Twelve? Yet one of you is a devil.”

If you were of the world, the world would love you as its own. However, because you are not of the world, but I have chosen you out of it, the world hates you.

You did not choose me, but I chose you. I appointed you to go and produce fruit and that your fruit should remain, so that whatever you ask the Father in my name, he will give you.

I will strike her children dead. Then all the churches will know that I am the one who examines minds and hearts, and I will give to each of you according to your works.

and a man’s enemies will be the members of his household.

For we are not proclaiming ourselves but Jesus Christ as Lord, and ourselves as your servants for Jesus’s sake.

He asked him the third time,“ Simon, son of John, do you love me?” Peter was grieved that he asked him the third time,“ Do you love me?” He said,“ Lord, you know everything; you know that I love you.”“ Feed my sheep,” Jesus said.

No creature is hidden from him, but all things are naked and exposed to the eyes of him to whom we must give an account.
