“ One who has bathed,” Jesus told him,“ doesn’t need to wash anything except his feet, but he is completely clean. You are clean, but not all of you.”

耶穌曰：『已浴者第須濯足、而舉身皆潔。爾曹潔矣、顧亦有例外。』

Jesus answered,“ Those who have had a bath need only to wash their feet; their whole body is clean. And you are clean, though not every one of you.”

Jesus saith to him, He that is bathed needeth not save to wash his feet, but is clean every whit: and ye are clean, but not all.

You are already clean because of the word I have spoken to you.

Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; the old has passed away, and see, the new has come!

So then, dear friends, since we have these promises, let us cleanse ourselves from every impurity of the flesh and spirit, bringing holiness to completion in the fear of God.

“ The one who is clean is to sprinkle the unclean person on the third day and the seventh day. But if he does not purify himself on the third and seventh days, he will not be clean.Anyone who touches a body of a person who has died, and does not purify himself, defiles the tabernacle of the LORD. That person will be cut off from Israel. He remains unclean because the water for impurity has not been sprinkled on him, and his uncleanness is still on him.

Now if I do what I do not want, I am no longer the one that does it, but it is the sin that lives in me.So I discover this law: When I want to do what is good, evil is present with me.For in my inner self I delight in God’s law,but I see a different law in the parts of my body, waging war against the law of my mind and taking me prisoner to the law of sin in the parts of my body.

“ Every person, whether the native or the resident alien, who eats an animal that died a natural death or was mauled by wild beasts is to wash his clothes and bathe with water, and he will remain unclean until evening; then he will be clean.But if he does not wash his clothes and bathe himself, he will bear his iniquity.”

He made the one who did not know sin to be sin for us, so that in him we might become the righteousness of God.

to take off your former way of life, the old self that is corrupted by deceitful desires,to be renewed in the spirit of your minds,and to put on the new self, the one created according to God’s likeness in righteousness and purity of the truth.

Now may the God of peace himself sanctify you completely. And may your whole spirit, soul, and body be kept sound and blameless at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.

For we all stumble in many ways. If anyone does not stumble in what he says, he is mature, able also to control the whole body.

You are absolutely beautiful, my darling; there is no imperfection in you.

And forgive us our debts, as we also have forgiven our debtors.

There is certainly no one righteous on the earth who does good and never sins.

In those days and at that time— this is the LORD’s declaration— one will search for Israel’s iniquity, but there will be none, and for Judah’s sins, but they will not be found, for I will forgive those I leave as a remnant.
