Husbands, love your wives, just as Christ also loved the church and gave Himself for her,that He might sanctify and cleanse her with the washing of water by the word,

They are not of the world, just as I am not of the world.

We love Him because He first loved us.

And we desire that each one of you show the same diligence to the full assurance of hope until the end,

“ I pray for them. I do not pray for the world but for those whom You have given Me, for they are Yours.And all Mine are Yours, and Yours are Mine, and I am glorified in them.Now I am no longer in the world, but these are in the world, and I come to You. Holy Father, keep through Your name those whom You have given Me, that they may be one as We are.

Now the Passover, a feast of the Jews, was near.

And the Passover of the Jews was near, and many went from the country up to Jerusalem before the Passover, to purify themselves.

Jesus spoke these words, lifted up His eyes to heaven, and said:“ Father, the hour has come. Glorify Your Son, that Your Son also may glorify You,

Jesus therefore, knowing all things that would come upon Him, went forward and said to them,“ Whom are you seeking?”

“ As the Father loved Me, I also have loved you; abide in My love.If you keep My commandments, you will abide in My love, just as I have kept My Father’s commandments and abide in His love.

teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.” Amen.

And I have declared to them Your name, and will declare it, that the love with which You loved Me may be in them, and I in them.”

After two days it was the Passover and the Feast of Unleavened Bread. And the chief priests and the scribes sought how they might take Him by trickery and put Him to death.But they said,“ Not during the feast, lest there be an uproar of the people.”

You have heard Me say to you,‘ I am going away and coming back to you.’ If you loved Me, you would rejoice because I said,‘ I am going to the Father,’ for My Father is greater than I.

“ You know that after two days is the Passover, and the Son of Man will be delivered up to be crucified.”Then the chief priests, the scribes, and the elders of the people assembled at the palace of the high priest, who was called Caiaphas,and plotted to take Jesus by trickery and kill Him.But they said,“ Not during the feast, lest there be an uproar among the people.”

Then He came to His disciples and said to them,“ Are you still sleeping and resting? Behold, the hour is at hand, and the Son of Man is being betrayed into the hands of sinners.

Now the Feast of Unleavened Bread drew near, which is called Passover.And the chief priests and the scribes sought how they might kill Him, for they feared the people.

Jesus answered,“ Are there not twelve hours in the day? If anyone walks in the day, he does not stumble, because he sees the light of this world.But if one walks in the night, he stumbles, because the light is not in him.”

Therefore they sought to take Him; but no one laid a hand on Him, because His hour had not yet come.

“ But now I go away to Him who sent Me, and none of you asks Me,‘ Where are You going?’But because I have said these things to you, sorrow has filled your heart.Nevertheless I tell you the truth. It is to your advantage that I go away; for if I do not go away, the Helper will not come to you; but if I depart, I will send Him to you.

These words Jesus spoke in the treasury, as He taught in the temple; and no one laid hands on Him, for His hour had not yet come.

but Christ as a Son over His own house, whose house we are if we hold fast the confidence and the rejoicing of the hope firm to the end.

When I was with you daily in the temple, you did not try to seize Me. But this is your hour, and the power of darkness.”

And now, O Father, glorify Me together with Yourself, with the glory which I had with You before the world was.

For we have become partakers of Christ if we hold the beginning of our confidence steadfast to the end,

Then Jesus said to them,“ My time has not yet come, but your time is always ready.

Therefore gird up the loins of your mind, be sober, and rest your hope fully upon the grace that is to be brought to you at the revelation of Jesus Christ;

And He said to them,“ Go, tell that fox,‘ Behold, I cast out demons and perform cures today and tomorrow, and the third day I shall be perfected.’Nevertheless I must journey today, tomorrow, and the day following; for it cannot be that a prophet should perish outside of Jerusalem.

Now it came to pass, when the time had come for Him to be received up, that He steadfastly set His face to go to Jerusalem,

But now I come to You, and these things I speak in the world, that they may have My joy fulfilled in themselves.I have given them Your word; and the world has hated them because they are not of the world, just as I am not of the world.

The Lord has appeared of old to me, saying:“ Yes, I have loved you with an everlasting love; Therefore with lovingkindness I have drawn you.

Greater love has no one than this, than to lay down one’s life for his friends.You are My friends if you do whatever I command you.

who will also confirm you to the end, that you may be blameless in the day of our Lord Jesus Christ.

Yet in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us.
