耶穌答曰、一晝非六時六時原文作十二時按古猶太一晝分十二時乎、人若晝行不蹶、因見此世之光、夜行必蹶、以其無光也、

眾欲執耶穌、因其時尚未至、故無執之者、

今我將歸於遣我者、爾曹無人問我何往、惟因我以此言告爾、則爾心殷憂、我誠告爾、我往、則為爾益、因我不往、則保慰者不來就爾、我若往、則必遣之就爾、

耶穌在聖殿之庫院教誨時言此、而無人執之、因其時尚未至也、

基督為子、治理其家、我儕若持守毅然之心、與可誇之望、鞏固至終、則皆為其家、

我日偕爾在聖殿、爾不執我、今乃爾曹之時、晦冥當權矣、○

父歟、今使我偕爾得榮、即創世之先、我偕爾所有之榮、

我儕若持守始初之信、鞏固至終、則於基督有分矣、

故當堅心、如束腰然、警醒、盼望耶穌基督顯現時將賜爾之恩、

耶穌升天之日將至、決意向耶路撒冷而行、

今我歸爾、我尚在世言此、為使彼心內全得我樂、我以爾言授彼、而世惡之、因彼不屬世、如我之不屬世然、

民曰、古昔之時、主顯現於我、或作主自遠方顯現於我曰、我永遠愛爾、故我施爾以恩、

人為友舍命、愛未有大於此者、爾遵行我所命爾者、即為我友、

彼亦必堅爾至終、使爾在我主耶穌基督之日、無可責也、

然於此諸事、我儕賴愛我者、大獲全勝、
