But Gehazi, the servant of Elisha the man of God, said, Behold, my master hath spared Naaman this Syrian, in not receiving at his hands that which he brought: but,[ as] the LORD liveth, I will run after him, and take somewhat of him.So Gehazi followed after Naaman. And when Naaman saw[ him] running after him, he lighted down from the chariot to meet him, and said,[ Is] all well?And he said, All[ is] well. My master hath sent me, saying, Behold, even now there be come to me from mount Ephraim two young men of the sons of the prophets: give them, I pray thee, a talent of silver, and two changes of garments.And Naaman said, Be content, take two talents. And he urged him, and bound two talents of silver in two bags, with two changes of garments, and laid[ them] upon two of his servants; and they bare[ them] before him.And when he came to the tower, he took[ them] from their hand, and bestowed[ them] in the house: and he let the men go, and they departed.But he went in, and stood before his master. And he said, Thy servant went no whither.And he said unto him, Went not mine heart[ with thee], when the man turned again from his chariot to meet thee?[ Is it] a time to receive money, and to receive garments, and oliveyards, and vineyards, and sheep, and oxen, and menservants, and maidservants?The leprosy therefore of Naaman shall cleave unto thee, and unto thy seed for ever. And he went out from his presence a leper[ as white] as snow.

For if there come unto your assembly a man with a gold ring, in goodly apparel, and there come in also a poor man in vile raiment;

The righteous considereth the cause of the poor:[ but] the wicked regardeth not to know[ it].

But they gave that to the workmen, and repaired therewith the house of the LORD.Moreover they reckoned not with the men, into whose hand they delivered the money to be bestowed on workmen: for they dealt faithfully.

The hireling fleeth, because he is an hireling, and careth not for the sheep.

Only[ they would] that we should remember the poor; the same which I also was forward to do.

Then I separated twelve of the chief of the priests, Sherebiah, Hashabiah, and ten of their brethren with them,And weighed unto them the silver, and the gold, and the vessels,[ even] the offering of the house of our God, which the king, and his counsellors, and his lords, and all Israel[ there] present, had offered:I even weighed unto their hand six hundred and fifty talents of silver, and silver vessels an hundred talents,[ and] of gold an hundred talents;Also twenty basons of gold, of a thousand drams; and two vessels of fine copper, precious as gold.And I said unto them, Ye[ are] holy unto the LORD; the vessels[ are] holy also; and the silver and the gold[ are] a freewill offering unto the LORD God of your fathers.Watch ye, and keep[ them], until ye weigh[ them] before the chief of the priests and the Levites, and chief of the fathers of Israel, at Jerusalem, in the chambers of the house of the LORD.So took the priests and the Levites the weight of the silver, and the gold, and the vessels, to bring[ them] to Jerusalem unto the house of our God.Then we departed from the river of Ahava on the twelfth[ day] of the first month, to go unto Jerusalem: and the hand of our God was upon us, and he delivered us from the hand of the enemy, and of such as lay in wait by the way.And we came to Jerusalem, and abode there three days.Now on the fourth day was the silver and the gold and the vessels weighed in the house of our God by the hand of Meremoth the son of Uriah the priest; and with him[ was] Eleazar the son of Phinehas; and with them[ was] Jozabad the son of Jeshua, and Noadiah the son of Binnui, Levites;By number[ and] by weight of every one: and all the weight was written at that time.

And they come unto thee as the people cometh, and they sit before thee[ as] my people, and they hear thy words, but they will not do them: for with their mouth they shew much love,[ but] their heart goeth after their covetousness.

Nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners, shall inherit the kingdom of God.

Abstain from all appearance of evil.

The fool hath said in his heart,[ There is] no God. They are corrupt, they have done abominable works,[ there is] none that doeth good.

And not[ that] only, but who was also chosen of the churches to travel with us with this grace, which is administered by us to the glory of the same Lord, and[ declaration of] your ready mind:Avoiding this, that no man should blame us in this abundance which is administered by us:Providing for honest things, not only in the sight of the Lord, but also in the sight of men.

All that ever came before me are thieves and robbers: but the sheep did not hear them.I am the door: by me if any man enter in, he shall be saved, and shall go in and out, and find pasture.The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have[ it] more abundantly.
