設有一人、金環美服、入爾會堂；同時有一貧人、敝衣而入；

以其為傭工、故無恤於羊耳。

彼等惟提一事、欲吾儕不分彼此、眷顧貧人、此亦予所樂為也。

作盜賊、貪污、沉湎、謗人、勒索之徒、未有能承受天主之國者也。

避惡若浼。

愚人心中言。宇宙無主宰。此輩何卑汚。所為皆曖昧。欲求為善者。不見一人在。

此君且原為諸會所推選、使與吾儕同行、協力勸募、以歸榮於主、而表吾人區區之心。如此則吾儕所經手之善事、可免任何人之指摘。蓋吾人作事、務求光明磊落、上可對主、下可對人也。

凡先予而至者、竊也、盜也、而羊亦不之聽焉。予實門也；凡由予而入、必蒙恩澤、且得自由出入、而優遊於牧場矣。竊者之來、惟圖偷盜殘殺；予之來也、則欲賜以生命、且令其生氣蓬勃、綽有餘裕。
