“基督耶稣来到这世界，为要拯救罪人。”这话是信实的，值得完全接受。在罪人中我是首恶，但我之所以蒙了怜悯，是因为基督耶稣要在我这首恶身上显出他一切的耐心，为那些将要信靠他而进入永恒生命的人做榜样。

要知道，人子来，是为了寻找并拯救迷失的人。”

你们是按人的标准来评断，我却不评断任何人。不过，就算我评断，我的评断也是真实的，因为我不是独自一人，而是有那派我来的父与我同在。

不要以为我将要在父面前控告你们，有一位控告你们的，就是你们所仰赖的摩西。

关于你们，我有很多事要说、要评断；不过派我来的那一位是真实的，我从他那里听了这些事，就向世人说出来。”

“你们要注意，不可轻视这些卑微人中的一个。我告诉你们：他们的天使在天上常常看见我天父的面。

并且你们要把我们主的耐心看做救恩，就像我们亲爱的弟兄保罗，照着所赐他的智慧写给你们的那样。

于是他们往别的村子去了。
