以賽亞復云、彼任其目瞽、心頑、免目明心悟、遷改而我醫之、

『主把他們的眼弄瞎了。使他們的心頑梗不化，省得他們用眼看見，用心了悟，回轉過來，而我醫治他們！』（

主瞽其目、頑其心、恐其目見心悟、轉移而我醫之、

主使其目瞽心頑、免其目明心悟、悔改而我醫之、

『主已蒙其目、主已頑其心、恐其目有見、恐其心有靈、恐其即回頭、令吾全其生。』

“ He has blinded their eyes and hardened their hearts, so they can neither see with their eyes, nor understand with their hearts, nor turn— and I would heal them.”

任斯民心頑、耳聾、目瞶、免其目視耳聽心悟、遷改而得醫焉、

故我設譬語之、以其視不見、聽不聞、而不悟也、其人如是、應以賽亞預言云、爾將耳聞而不聰、目視而不明、蓋此民心頑、耳聾、目瞶、免其目視、耳聽、心悟、遷改而我醫之焉、

曰、上帝國之奧、與爾知之、惟於他人、則設譬、故彼視而不明、聽而不悟、

耶穌曰、我為審判臨世、使不見者可見、見者反為瞽、

故彼目視而不明、耳聞而不悟、不克遷改而得罪赦、

爾雖為我耶和華所遣之僕、所愛之民、無如爾聾爾瞽、甚於諸人、雖熟視若無睹、雖諦聽而不聞、

我身荏弱、爾其恤之、我骨戰慄、爾其醫之、

我曰、耶和華其矜憫予、予蹈罪愆、爾其醫予兮、

彼必曰、耶和華既戕我、必醫痊我、既擊我、必彌縫我、莫若歸之、

蓋耶和華使爾閉目酣睡、民長先知、均蔽厥心、

主曰斯民也、雖背逆余、心猶愛之、必息我怒、而醫其疾、

傷心者、主為醫痊、殘缺者、主為彌縫兮、

我曰、背逆之子、歸誠於我、我宥爾罪。民曰、爾耶和華乃我之上帝、今我詣爾之前。

我見其所為、我將醫之、導之以行、慰藉其心、以解厥憂。耶和華又曰、我錫平康、遍於遐邇、醫民之疾、使人祝謝、

越至於今、爾心不能思、目不能見、耳不能聞、緣耶和華未嘗以是才能賜之於爾也。

蓋斯眾剛愎厥心、耶和華聽其然、使與以色列族戰、而被翦滅、無少姑縱、循耶和華諭摩西之命。○

蓋矜恤人者惟上帝、聽人剛愎者、亦惟上帝、

往告此民曰、爾將耳聞而不聰、目視而不明、

曰不智之徒、無慧者流、有目而不見、有耳而不聞、宜聽斯言。

法老剛愎厥心、追襲爾後、我姑聽之、迨殲法老、覆其軍、以獲大榮、使埃及人知行是事者、我耶和華也。以色列族遵命而行。○

人子、爾居違逆者中、彼有目視而不明、有耳聽而不聰、

法老仍剛愎厥心、不肯聽從、而耶和華之前言應矣。○

曰、然則以色列人所求者、有不得乎、曰、選民得之、其餘則頑也、經云、上帝任其昏昧、目不見、耳不聞、至於今日、大闢曰、厥席成機檻以陷之、為礙石以罰之、厥目矇而勿見、厥背屈而不伸、曰、以色列人、豈蹶而躓歟、曰、非也、然彼躓、異邦人乃得救、使以色列人發奮、

耶穌知之曰、曷以無餅議乎、爾猶未知未悟歟、心猶頑耶、爾有目不視、有耳不聽、亦不憶乎、

姑聽之、彼乃瞽相瞽者、以瞽相瞽、二者互陷於坑矣、

彼因我罪、而被傷殘、緣我咎而受瘡痍、彼遭刑罰、我享平康、彼見鞭扑、我得醫痊。

于是、教會送之、經腓尼基、撒馬利亞、述異邦人反正之事、諸兄弟大喜、

主之神臨我、膏我、俾傳福音於貧人、傷心者醫之、

如先知迷眩其心、傳言於眾、我耶和華聽其然、後必降罰、絕之於我民以色列族中。

兄弟乎、有人離於真道、而爾使之反正、當知使罪人去邪反正、則可救一人弗死、且可蓋其愆也、

法老剛愎厥心、我姑聽之、俟我多施異跡奇事於埃及地。

耶和華曰、誰能誘亞哈、使往基列之喇末、殞沒其命。眾天使所陳之詞不一。

汝宜悔改反正、俾罪得抹、則主賜爾安舒之日至、

蓋擘餅之事、頓忘之矣、心頑故也、○

埃及人必剛愎厥心以襲、我姑聽之。我必勝法老、爰及軍旅車馬、以獲大榮。

擊強國、戮大王兮、亞摩哩王西宏、巴山王噩、及迦南列國之王、亦就戮兮。以其地賜選民以色列族為業兮、耶和華兮、爾名永存、兆姓追思、歷世靡已兮、耶和華必伸民冤、矜恤其僕兮。異邦之偶像、金銀而已、人手所雕作兮。有口不言、有目不見、耳不聞聲音、鼻不通呼吸兮、造作之、依賴之、與彼無異兮。

耶和華諭摩西曰、汝歸時、我命爾所行之異跡、爾必行於法老前、法老不釋我民、剛愎厥心、我姑聽之。

耶和華與、爾顯大能、彼不瞻望、惟爾熱中祐民、降火燬敵、令彼見此而愧。
