Then Judas Iscariot, Simon’s son, one of his disciples, who would betray him, said,

But one of his disciples, Judas Iscariot, who was later to betray him, objected,

But Judas Iscariot didn’t like what Mary did. He was one of Jesus’ disciples. Later he was going to hand Jesus over to his enemies. Judas said,

But Judas Iscariot, one of his disciples( he who was about to betray him), said,

Then one of His disciples, Judas Iscariot( who was about to betray Him), said,

But Judas Iscariot, one of his disciples( the one who was going to betray him) said,

Simon the Canaanite; and Judas Iscariot, who also betrayed him.

Now Judas, who betrayed him, also knew the place, for Jesus often met there with his disciples.Judas then, having taken a detachment of soldiers and officers from the chief priests and the Pharisees, came there with lanterns, torches, and weapons.Jesus therefore, knowing all the things that were happening to him, went out, and said to them,“ Who are you looking for?”They answered him,“ Jesus of Nazareth.” Jesus said to them,“ I am he.” Judas also, who betrayed him, was standing with them.

Jesus answered them,“ Didn’t I choose you, the twelve, and one of you is a devil?”Now he spoke of Judas, the son of Simon Iscariot, for it was he who would betray him, being one of the twelve.

Jesus therefore answered,“ It is he to whom I will give this piece of bread when I have dipped it.” So when he had dipped the piece of bread, he gave it to Judas, the son of Simon Iscariot.

During supper, the devil having already put into the heart of Judas Iscariot, Simon’s son, to betray him,

Eliab his oldest brother heard when he spoke to the men; and Eliab’s anger burned against David, and he said,“ Why have you come down? With whom have you left those few sheep in the wilderness? I know your pride, and the naughtiness of your heart; for you have come down that you might see the battle.”David said,“ What have I now done? Is there not a cause?”

Then I saw all the labor and achievement that is the envy of a man’s neighbor. This also is vanity and a striving after wind.

Judas the son of James; and Judas Iscariot, who also became a traitor.
