如是、應先知以賽亞言云、主、我所傳聞、篤信者誰、主之大力、誠服者誰、

為應先知以賽亞之言云、主、我所傳聞、誰信乎、主所顯之大力、誰見乎、

此蓋所以應乎先知意灑雅之所言曰：『主乎！我之所傳、誰其信之？主之臂力、誰其領之？』

This happened as Isaiah the prophet had said it would. He had said,“ Lord, who has believed what we’ve been saying? Who has seen the Lord’s saving power?”( Isaiah 53:1)

so that the word spoken by the prophet Isaiah might be fulfilled:“ Lord, who has believed what he heard from us, and to whom has the arm of the Lord been revealed?”

This is exactly what Isaiah the prophet had predicted:“ Lord, who has believed our message? To whom has the Lord revealed his powerful arm?”

This was to fulfill the word of Isaiah the prophet, who said: Lord, who has believed our message? And to whom has the arm of the Lord been revealed?

This happened so that the word of Isaiah the prophet which he spoke would be fulfilled:“ Lord, who has believed our report? And to whom has the arm of the Lord been revealed?”

that the word of Isaiah the prophet might be fulfilled, which he spoke:“ Lord, who has believed our report? And to whom has the arm of the Lord been revealed?”

But this was to fulfill the word of Isaiah the prophet, who said: Lord, who has believed our message? And who has the arm of the Lord been revealed to?

That the saying of Esaias the prophet might be fulfilled, which he spake, Lord, who hath believed our report? and to whom hath the arm of the Lord been revealed?

so that the word of Isaiah the prophet would be fulfilled. He said,“ Lord, who has believed our message, and to whom has the arm of the Lord been revealed?”

Who has believed our message and to whom has the arm of the Lord been revealed?

But not all the Israelites accepted the good news. For Isaiah says,“ Lord, who has believed our message?”

But their minds were made dull, for to this day the same veil remains when the old covenant is read. It has not been removed, because only in Christ is it taken away.Even to this day when Moses is read, a veil covers their hearts.But whenever anyone turns to the Lord, the veil is taken away.Now the Lord is the Spirit, and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom.And we all, who with unveiled faces contemplate the Lord’s glory, are being transformed into his image with ever- increasing glory, which comes from the Lord, who is the Spirit.

but to those whom God has called, both Jews and Greeks, Christ the power of God and the wisdom of God.

I keep asking that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the glorious Father, may give you the Spirit of wisdom and revelation, so that you may know him better.I pray that the eyes of your heart may be enlightened in order that you may know the hope to which he has called you, the riches of his glorious inheritance in his holy people,and his incomparably great power for us who believe. That power is the same as the mighty strengthhe exerted when he raised Christ from the dead and seated him at his right hand in the heavenly realms,

And Isaiah boldly says,“ I was found by those who did not seek me; I revealed myself to those who did not ask for me.”

to reveal his Son in me so that I might preach him among the Gentiles, my immediate response was not to consult any human being.

And even if our gospel is veiled, it is veiled to those who are perishing.The god of this age has blinded the minds of unbelievers, so that they cannot see the light of the gospel that displays the glory of Christ, who is the image of God.For what we preach is not ourselves, but Jesus Christ as Lord, and ourselves as your servants for Jesus’ sake.For God, who said,“ Let light shine out of darkness,” made his light shine in our hearts to give us the light of the knowledge of God’s glory displayed in the face of Christ.

King Hezekiah and the prophet Isaiah son of Amoz cried out in prayer to heaven about this.

When they had crucified him, they divided up his clothes by casting lots.

The people of Jerusalem and their rulers did not recognize Jesus, yet in condemning him they fulfilled the words of the prophets that are read every Sabbath.Though they found no proper ground for a death sentence, they asked Pilate to have him executed.When they had carried out all that was written about him, they took him down from the cross and laid him in a tomb.

“ Let’s not tear it,” they said to one another.“ Let’s decide by lot who will get it.” This happened that the scripture might be fulfilled that said,“ They divided my clothes among them and cast lots for my garment.” So this is what the soldiers did.

You hypocrites! Isaiah was right when he prophesied about you:

These things happened so that the scripture would be fulfilled:“ Not one of his bones will be broken,”and, as another scripture says,“ They will look on the one they have pierced.”

It was not by their sword that they won the land, nor did their arm bring them victory; it was your right hand, your arm, and the light of your face, for you loved them.

But this is to fulfill what is written in their Law:‘ They hated me without reason.’

While I was with them, I protected them and kept them safe by that name you gave me. None has been lost except the one doomed to destruction so that Scripture would be fulfilled.

See, the Sovereign Lord comes with power, and he rules with a mighty arm. See, his reward is with him, and his recompense accompanies him.He tends his flock like a shepherd: He gathers the lambs in his arms and carries them close to his heart; he gently leads those that have young.

and on his way home was sitting in his chariot reading the Book of Isaiah the prophet.The Spirit told Philip,“ Go to that chariot and stay near it.”Then Philip ran up to the chariot and heard the man reading Isaiah the prophet.“ Do you understand what you are reading?” Philip asked.

Jesus replied,“ Blessed are you, Simon son of Jonah, for this was not revealed to you by flesh and blood, but by my Father in heaven.

My righteousness draws near speedily, my salvation is on the way, and my arm will bring justice to the nations. The islands will look to me and wait in hope for my arm.

Awake, awake, arm of the Lord, clothe yourself with strength! Awake, as in days gone by, as in generations of old. Was it not you who cut Rahab to pieces, who pierced that monster through?
