So Jesus said to them,“ For a little while longer the Light is among you. Walk while you have the Light, so that darkness will not overtake you; also, the one who walks in the darkness does not know where he is going.

耶穌曰：『光處爾曹之中、尚有片時、及爾有光、爾當勉行、毋使暗冥襲爾、行於黑暗中者、不自知其所往、

Then Jesus told them,“ You are going to have the light just a little while longer. Walk while you have the light, before darkness overtakes you. Whoever walks in the dark does not know where they are going.

Jesus replied,“ My light will shine for you just a little longer. Walk in the light while you can, so the darkness will not overtake you. Those who walk in the darkness cannot see where they are going.

I have come as Light into the world, so that no one who believes in Me will remain in darkness.

Then Jesus again spoke to them, saying,“ I am the Light of the world; the one who follows Me will not walk in the darkness, but will have the Light of life.”

for you were once darkness, but now you are light in the Lord; walk as children of light

Give glory to the Lord your God Before He brings darkness And before your feet stumble On the mountains in the dark, And while you are hoping for light He makes it into gloom, And turns it into thick darkness.But if you do not listen to it, My soul will weep in secret for such pride; And my eyes will shed And stream down tears, Because the flock of the Lord has been taken captive.

But if anyone walks during the night, he stumbles, because the light is not in him.”

If we say that we have fellowship with Him and yet walk in the darkness, we lie and do not practice the truth;but if we walk in the Light as He Himself is in the Light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus His Son cleanses us from all sin.

Therefore Jesus said,“ For a little while longer I am going to be with you, and then I am going to Him who sent Me.

While you have the Light, believe in the Light, so that you may become sons of Light.” These things Jesus proclaimed, and He went away and hid Himself from them.

for you are all sons of light and sons of day. We are not of night nor of darkness;so then, let’s not sleep as others do, but let’s be alert and sober.For those who sleep, sleep at night, and those who are drunk, get drunk at night.But since we are of the day, let’s be sober, having put on the breastplate of faith and love, and as a helmet, the hope of salvation.

We must carry out the works of Him who sent Me as long as it is day; night is coming, when no one can work.While I am in the world, I am the Light of the world.”

“ I am the Lord, I have called You in righteousness, I will also hold You by the hand and watch over You, And I will appoint You as a covenant to the people, As a light to the nations,To open blind eyes, To bring out prisoners from the dungeon And those who dwell in darkness from the prison.

Come, house of Jacob, and let’s walk in the light of the Lord.

For this reason they could not believe, for Isaiah said again,“ He has blinded their eyes and He hardened their heart, so that they will not see with their eyes and understand with their heart, and be converted, and so I will not heal them.”

And the Light shines in the darkness, and the darkness did not grasp it.A man came, one sent from God, and his name was John.He came as a witness, to testify about the Light, so that all might believe through him.He was not the Light, but he came to testify about the Light.This was the true Light that, coming into the world, enlightens every person.

What then? What Israel is seeking, it has not obtained, but those who were chosen obtained it, and the rest were hardened;just as it is written:“ God gave them a spirit of stupor, Eyes to see not and ears to hear not, Down to this very day.”And David says,“ May their table become a snare and a trap, And a stumbling block and a retribution to them.May their eyes be darkened to see not, And bend their backs continually.”

But their minds were hardened; for until this very day at the reading of the old covenant the same veil remains unlifted, because it is removed in Christ.

On the other hand, I am writing a new commandment to you, which is true in Him and in you, because the darkness is passing away and the true Light is already shining.The one who says that he is in the Light and yet hates his brother or sister is in the darkness until now.The one who loves his brother and sister remains in the Light, and there is nothing in him to cause stumbling.But the one who hates his brother or sister is in the darkness and walks in the darkness, and does not know where he is going because the darkness has blinded his eyes.

May their table before them become a snare; And when they are at peace, may it become a trap.May their eyes grow dim so that they cannot see, And make their hips shake continually.Pour out Your indignation on them, And may Your burning anger overtake them.May their camp be desolated; May there be none living in their tents.For they have persecuted him whom You Yourself struck, And they tell of the pain of those whom You have wounded.Add guilt to their guilt, And may they not come into Your righteousness.May they be wiped out of the book of life, And may they not be recorded with the righteous.

The night is almost gone, and the day is near. Therefore let’s rid ourselves of the deeds of darkness and put on the armor of light.Let’s behave properly as in the day, not in carousing and drunkenness, not in sexual promiscuity and debauchery, not in strife and jealousy.But put on the Lord Jesus Christ, and make no provision for the flesh in regard to its lusts.

For this reason it says,“ Awake, sleeper, And arise from the dead, And Christ will shine on you.”So then, be careful how you walk, not as unwise people but as wise,

The way of the wicked is like darkness; They do not know over what they stumble.

Therefore, just as the Holy Spirit says,“ Today if you hear His voice,Do not harden your hearts as when they provoked Me, As on the day of trial in the wilderness,
