Then Jesus said unto them, Yet a little while is the light with you. Walk while ye have the light, lest darkness come upon you: for he that walketh in darkness knoweth not whither he goeth.

耶穌說：「光在你們當中的時候不多了。要趁著有光的時候行走，免得黑暗抓住你們！因為在黑暗裡行走的人，不知道自己往哪裡去。

耶穌曰、光在爾中、暫耳、有光則宜行、免暗及爾、行於暗者、不知所往矣、

耶穌曰、光與爾在暫耳、有光則行、恐暗忽至、暗行者不知所往、

耶穌曰、片時光尚偕爾、乘有光當行、恐暗忽臨、行於暗者、不知所往、

耶穌曰：『光處爾曹之中、尚有片時、及爾有光、爾當勉行、毋使暗冥襲爾、行於黑暗中者、不自知其所往、

Then Jesus told them,“ You are going to have the light just a little while longer. Walk while you have the light, before darkness overtakes you. Whoever walks in the dark does not know where they are going.

So Jesus said to them,“ The light is among you for a little while longer. Walk while you have the light, lest darkness overtake you. The one who walks in the darkness does not know where he is going.

Jesus replied,“ My light will shine for you just a little longer. Walk in the light while you can, so the darkness will not overtake you. Those who walk in the darkness cannot see where they are going.

Jesus answered,“ The light will be with you only a little longer. Walk while you have the light so that darkness doesn’t overtake you. The one who walks in darkness doesn’t know where he’s going.

I am come a light into the world, that whosoever believeth on me should not abide in darkness.

Then spake Jesus again unto them, saying, I am the light of the world: he that followeth me shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the light of life.

For ye were sometimes darkness, but now[ are ye] light in the Lord: walk as children of light:

Give glory to the LORD your God, before he cause darkness, and before your feet stumble upon the dark mountains, and, while ye look for light, he turn it into the shadow of death,[ and] make[ it] gross darkness.But if ye will not hear it, my soul shall weep in secret places for[ your] pride; and mine eye shall weep sore, and run down with tears, because the LORD’S flock is carried away captive.

But if a man walk in the night, he stumbleth, because there is no light in him.

If we say that we have fellowship with him, and walk in darkness, we lie, and do not the truth:But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin.

Then said Jesus unto them, Yet a little while am I with you, and[ then] I go unto him that sent me.

While ye have light, believe in the light, that ye may be the children of light. These things spake Jesus, and departed, and did hide himself from them.

Ye are all the children of light, and the children of the day: we are not of the night, nor of darkness.Therefore let us not sleep, as[ do] others; but let us watch and be sober.For they that sleep sleep in the night; and they that be drunken are drunken in the night.But let us, who are of the day, be sober, putting on the breastplate of faith and love; and for an helmet, the hope of salvation.

I must work the works of him that sent me, while it is day: the night cometh, when no man can work.As long as I am in the world, I am the light of the world.

I the LORD have called thee in righteousness, and will hold thine hand, and will keep thee, and give thee for a covenant of the people, for a light of the Gentiles;To open the blind eyes, to bring out the prisoners from the prison,[ and] them that sit in darkness out of the prison house.

O house of Jacob, come ye, and let us walk in the light of the LORD.

Therefore they could not believe, because that Esaias said again,He hath blinded their eyes, and hardened their heart; that they should not see with[ their] eyes, nor understand with[ their] heart, and be converted, and I should heal them.

And the light shineth in darkness; and the darkness comprehended it not.There was a man sent from God, whose name[ was] John.The same came for a witness, to bear witness of the Light, that all[ men] through him might believe.He was not that Light, but[ was sent] to bear witness of that Light.[ That] was the true Light, which lighteth every man that cometh into the world.

What then? Israel hath not obtained that which he seeketh for; but the election hath obtained it, and the rest were blinded( According as it is written, God hath given them the spirit of slumber, eyes that they should not see, and ears that they should not hear;) unto this day.And David saith, Let their table be made a snare, and a trap, and a stumblingblock, and a recompence unto them:Let their eyes be darkened, that they may not see, and bow down their back alway.

But their minds were blinded: for until this day remaineth the same vail untaken away in the reading of the old testament; which[ vail] is done away in Christ.

Again, a new commandment I write unto you, which thing is true in him and in you: because the darkness is past, and the true light now shineth.He that saith he is in the light, and hateth his brother, is in darkness even until now.He that loveth his brother abideth in the light, and there is none occasion of stumbling in him.But he that hateth his brother is in darkness, and walketh in darkness, and knoweth not whither he goeth, because that darkness hath blinded his eyes.

Let their table become a snare before them: and[ that which should have been] for[ their] welfare,[ let it become] a trap.Let their eyes be darkened, that they see not; and make their loins continually to shake.Pour out thine indignation upon them, and let thy wrathful anger take hold of them.Let their habitation be desolate;[ and] let none dwell in their tents.For they persecute[ him] whom thou hast smitten; and they talk to the grief of those whom thou hast wounded.Add iniquity unto their iniquity: and let them not come into thy righteousness.Let them be blotted out of the book of the living, and not be written with the righteous.

The night is far spent, the day is at hand: let us therefore cast off the works of darkness, and let us put on the armour of light.Let us walk honestly, as in the day; not in rioting and drunkenness, not in chambering and wantonness, not in strife and envying.But put ye on the Lord Jesus Christ, and make not provision for the flesh, to[ fulfil] the lusts[ thereof].

Wherefore he saith, Awake thou that sleepest, and arise from the dead, and Christ shall give thee light.See then that ye walk circumspectly, not as fools, but as wise,

The way of the wicked[ is] as darkness: they know not at what they stumble.

Wherefore( as the Holy Ghost saith, To day if ye will hear his voice,Harden not your hearts, as in the provocation, in the day of temptation in the wilderness:
